  • Good value
I've been using this cordless pool vacuum for my above-ground pool, and it's made regular maintenance much easier. I was surprised by how much debris it picked up on the first use, especially the fine dirt and sand that my skimmer usually misses. Assembly took just a few minutes, and I really like having both the short handle and the telescoping pole. For quick cleanups I use the short handle, but for cleaning the entire pool the extension pole gives me plenty of reach without having to bend over or get into the water. The two suction modes are actually useful. I use the high-flow mode after windy days when there are leaves and small twigs in the pool, then switch to the high-suction mode to clean up the dirt and sand that settles on the bottom. The different filter bags are a nice touch because you can choose the one that works best for the type of debris you're dealing with. The battery has easily lasted through cleaning my pool, and I appreciate that it recharges pretty quickly. Being cordless is probably my favorite feature since I don't have to deal with hoses or cords getting tangled while I'm cleaning. One thing I learned right away is that the vacuum needs to stay fully submerged. The first time I lifted it too high, it shut itself off, but that's actually a built-in safety feature to protect the motor. Once I put it back under the water and restarted it, it worked perfectly. Overall, I'm happy with this vacuum. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, has strong suction, and makes cleaning my pool much faster than using a manual vacuum. It's become one of those tools I actually don't mind using because it gets the job done without a lot of hassle. Do note that this works best for pools that arent too deep. I have a 12ft pool and it does a great job in the more shallow area. The deep end is a little more challenging. ... show more

  • Makes Pool Cleaning Faster and Much Less Frustrating
I have used a variety of pool cleaning tools over the years, and this OGERY Pool Vacuum quickly became one of my favorites for routine maintenance. It eliminates much of the hassle associated with manual cleaning and makes it easy to keep a pool looking its best. What stood out immediately was the suction power. The vacuum does an excellent job picking up dirt, sand, leaves, small debris, and other material that tends to collect on the pool floor and steps. It cleans efficiently without requiring multiple passes over the same area. The cordless design is a major advantage. Not having to deal with hoses or power cords makes cleaning much more convenient and allows easy movement throughout the pool. It feels far less restrictive than traditional cleaning methods. Battery life has been excellent during my use. The runtime is more than enough for routine cleaning sessions, and I was able to finish the entire job without worrying about losing power before the pool was clean. The construction feels durable and well-made. The vacuum body, handle, and attachments all feel sturdy enough to withstand regular use around pools, spas, and hot tubs. Ease of use is one of the strongest features. Assembly is simple, operation is straightforward, and maintenance afterward is quick. Emptying collected debris and preparing the vacuum for the next use takes very little effort. The lightweight design makes a noticeable difference during longer cleaning sessions. It is easy to maneuver around corners, steps, and tight areas without causing arm fatigue. Versatility is excellent. It works well for inground pools, hot tubs, spas, pool steps, and smaller areas that can be difficult to reach with larger cleaning systems. The appearance is clean and professional, and the overall design feels thoughtfully engineered for convenience and efficiency. Value for money is excellent. The combination of strong suction, cordless freedom, long battery life, and easy handling makes it a worthwhile investment for pool owners who want a simpler cleaning solution. Overall, this pool vacuum delivers strong performance, dependable battery life, and outstanding convenience. It turns what is usually a tedious chore into a quick and manageable task. ... show more

  • Perfect for Cleaning the Pool Between Service Visits
I bought this for those times when we're having friends or family over, and the pool guy isn't scheduled to come by for a few more days. Nothing is more frustrating than looking out at the pool before guests arrive and seeing leaves, dirt, or debris sitting on the bottom. This has been a great solution for quick cleanup without dragging out larger equipment. What I like most is how easy it is to grab and use. Since it's cordless, I can pull it out, do a quick pass around the pool, and have everything looking presentable in just a few minutes. It's much more convenient than dealing with hoses, cords, or setting up a larger vacuum system for a small cleanup job. The suction power is impressive for a handheld unit. It does a great job picking up leaves, dirt, and the random debris that always seems to find its way into the pool. I've used it for everything from larger leaves after a windy day to finer dirt that settles on the bottom, and it's handled both well. The telescoping pole is another feature I appreciate. It makes it easy to reach deeper sections of the pool without having to lean over awkwardly or get into the water. Being able to switch between the shorter handle and the longer pole adds a lot of flexibility depending on what I'm cleaning. Battery life has been more than adequate for my needs. I'm typically doing maintenance cleanups rather than deep-cleaning an entire neglected pool, and a single charge has been plenty for several quick touch-up sessions. The fast recharge time is also nice if you forget to charge it after use. The build quality feels solid, and the included filter options are useful depending on what you're trying to pick up. For the price, I think it's a great value. It's not a replacement for regular pool service, but it's an excellent tool for keeping the pool looking clean and ready for visitors between maintenance visits. ... show more

  • Works Surprisingly Well
I was skeptical at first, because (before reading the instructions) I tried it out of the water and the suction didn’t seem very strong, but once I tried this in the water (per the instructions), it was a completely different story! I love that it’s not super big and being cordless really is a game changer. It comes with a long and short handle option, so you can use it standing outside your pool or in it. The suction isn’t the strongest, but it’s enough to get a lot and it’s kind of amazing to watch the water cycle through. It’s really easy to take apart to clean and dry out and I really appreciate that it came with a few extra filters. It’s pretty gentle and doesn’t have any sharp corners to it, so I’m not worried about using it in my above ground pool. ... show more

  • Grabbed this before a last-minute pool party and it saved me — now I use it every week
Let me set the scene: it's a Thursday afternoon, I've got people coming over Saturday, and I look at my above ground pool and realize it looks like a leaf collection experiment. My old corded vacuum had given up earlier in the season and I hadn't replaced it yet because the robot cleaner handles the regular maintenance well enough that I kept putting it off. I panic-ordered this, it arrived Friday, and by Saturday morning the pool was genuinely clean. That's how this relationship started and it's been in regular rotation ever since. I want to be upfront that I use this as a supplemental cleaner alongside a robot, which I think is actually the ideal use case for a vacuum like this. The robot handles the slow methodical floor cleaning on a schedule. This handles everything the robot misses or can't get to quickly — the steps, the waterline edge, the corners, and the inevitable post-storm leaf situation that shows up and needs to be dealt with right now rather than waiting for a cleaning cycle. **The suction:** 40 watts and 18.5 gallons per minute sounds like spec sheet language until you actually put this thing in the water and watch it pull debris in. It has noticeably more suction than I expected from a handheld cordless unit. Leaves, twigs, dead bugs, sand that's settled on the bottom — all of it gets captured cleanly without having to make multiple slow passes. The 11.4 inch wide suction head covers real ground per pass which cuts down the time you're standing there holding a pole considerably. For an above ground pool in the 15 to 18 foot range you can do a thorough cleanup in fifteen to twenty minutes once you have the pole length dialed in. **The cordless runtime:** 60 minutes is accurate in my experience, though I'll be honest that I've never needed the full 60 minutes in a single session. My typical cleanup runs 15 to 25 minutes and the battery indicator barely moves. The 1.5 hour recharge time means even if you do run it down you're not waiting half a day to use it again. Coming from a corded vacuum where every session involved untangling something or negotiating with an outlet location, the freedom of no cord at all is genuinely liberating in a way that's hard to fully appreciate until you've experienced it. **Handheld versus pole:** Both modes work well and serve different purposes. Handheld is great for steps, the waterline, spa jets, and tight spots where the pole creates more awkwardness than it solves. The telescopic pole extending out to over 71 inches reaches the far side of my pool without me having to lean dangerously over the edge, and the angle adjustment lets you maintain good suction contact with the floor rather than fighting the geometry of a fixed head. Assembly takes about two minutes and switching between configurations is simple enough that I don't avoid doing it the way I avoid reconfiguring equipment that requires actual effort. **The filtration system:** Four filter bags included — two 300-mesh and two 500-mesh — is a genuinely thoughtful inclusion. The 300-mesh handles larger debris like leaves and twigs and is what I use for most cleanups. The 500-mesh catches finer particles and is worth switching to when you're dealing with sand or fine sediment after a heavy rain. Having spares means one can be drying while the other is in use, which matters more than it sounds for keeping maintenance from becoming a bottleneck. The bags rinse out easily and have held up through a full season without tearing or losing their shape. I do want to echo the product's own honest note here: this is designed for loose physical debris, not for scrubbing stains off pool walls or vacuuming up compacted heavy sediment. For that you need a different tool. Used for what it's designed for — capturing leaves, sand, bugs, and general debris from water — it performs excellently. **The weight and ergonomics:** Light enough that my wife uses it without complaint, which is the most reliable ergonomic endorsement I can offer. The handle is comfortable for the duration of a typical cleaning session and the balance with the pole attached is better than I expected — it doesn't feel nose-heavy or awkward to maneuver. For people with any shoulder or wrist issues, the lightweight design is a real practical benefit rather than a marketing point. **Cleanup after use:** Rinse the filter bag, let it dry, done. The whole unit rinses clean without disassembling anything complicated. I have this hanging in my pool shed and the whole put-away process after a cleaning session is under five minutes. That ease of cleanup is a meaningful part of why I actually use it regularly rather than talking myself out of it because the hassle isn't worth it. **Who this is for:** Above ground pool owners who want something fast and cordless for between-cycle touch-ups, spa and hot tub owners dealing with regular debris, anyone opening their pool for the season and facing a cleanup situation, and people who've been frustrated by corded vacuums and want to never deal with a hose and pump setup again. It's not a replacement for a dedicated robotic cleaner if you have a large pool that needs regular systematic cleaning — but as a complement to that setup or as a standalone solution for smaller pools and spas, it hits well above its price point. **Bottom line:** Fast, genuinely powerful for its size, cordless in a way that actually changes how you interact with pool maintenance, and easy enough to use that it stops being a chore you put off and starts being a ten minute task you just do. Pool party saved, weekly maintenance simplified, no regrets. ... show more

  • Great for quick deep end touch ups
This pool vacuum has been a really handy addition for me. It works wonderfully for quick cleanups and saves me from dragging out a full vacuum setup when I only need to spot clean a few areas. I actually attached it to a longer pole so I could reach the deep end of my inground pool, and it handled that job very well. What impressed me most is how well it picked up the fine sand dust I sometimes get from the zeolite in my filter. That kind of debris can be annoying because some cleaners just stir it up instead of removing it, but this vacuum cleaned it right up with no headaches. The suction has been more than enough for the kind of routine maintenance I wanted it for. I also like not having to deal with hoses and cords. It makes pool cleaning feel a lot less like a project. For me this has been perfect for quick passes on steps, corners, and random spots that need attention between bigger cleanings. If you want something convenient that actually works and can handle even fine debris, this has been a very good one in real use. ... show more

  • Just get it! It’s a no brainer!
This cordless pool vacuum has made cleaning my pool so much easier. I no longer have to drag out the vacuum hose and hook everything up to the pump and filter every time I want to clean the bottom. It is simply too convenient not to use and it saves a lot of time. The suction is strong enough to pick up leaves dirt and other debris without any trouble. The telescopic pole gives plenty of reach and the lightweight design makes it comfortable to use around the entire pool. I also like having the different filter bags because they let me switch depending on what I am cleaning. The battery runtime has been more than enough for my pool and not having a cord to deal with makes moving around much easier. The quality feels solid and everything fits together well. Overall this vacuum offers excellent value for money with strong suction easy operation good portability and it has quickly become my preferred way to keep the pool clean. ... show more

  • Strong suction and quick cleanup
I've put this cordless vacuum through about 20 minute sessions, and the suction is strong for a handheld unit. Everything gets pulled up quickly doesn't matter if it's fine sediment or larger debris. The cordless part means no tangled cords or dragging a power line around the pool, which alone makes the experience less annoying than traditional vacuums. The runtime seems good for typical pool maintenance sessions. I can't speak to long-term durability yet since I'm still in the early testing phase, but initial performance is exactly what I was hoping for. It's easy to use, easy to clean, ok to store. I mean it is one of those things you have to store inside and cant just hang on the fence with the rest of the pool equipment. But it sure does save time. ... show more
