  • This Little Guy Keeps on Trucking
Almost 2 years later, living in a location that gets more dirt blown into my pool then my windowsills, this guy keeps on Truckin’. I have yet to have any issues with it. I would recommend people let the charging port dry for a little while as it is not exactly water tight. I have had a few issues with plugging it in and it not charging but I think that I had either not let it dry completely or I had it fully inserted the charging cord. I do remember reaching out to customer service prior to the purchase and they were amazing. So those of you having issues with their robot… Give the company a call. What do you have to lose. For the low cost of this little robot cleaner… It has exceeded my expectations. Sometimes my pool looks like a dirty pond whose contents have settled. I’m talking an inch of dirt some summers. Living in a windy city surrounded by open desert I have yet to break the code on how to not get dirt in my pool without a cover that seals. If I’m gone for a couple of days in a row and the wind blows… Can count on dropping my little robot in the pool. After three or four go arounds with it, I am able to brush and vacuum my pool without having to vacuum to waste; fearing the obscene amounts of dirt in the bottom of my pool would damage my DE filter. I would certainly recommend this product. Pool/Spa Capacity 17,500 gal Salt Water Chlorinator Elevated spa with overflow into the 20’x20’ plaster/concrete pool. Other than the robot, all my pool equipment is Pentair. They literally have the BEST customer service of ANY product (maybe on par with EUFY) I have used and had experience with their customer service teams. I was a new pool owner (with the worst building experience I have heard yet; they’re almost all bad or below expectations) and hadn’t been educated on how to properly manage a pool; nothing. I had to search the Interwebs and try to figure it out for myself. I did get a massive amount of help through Leslie’s®️ water testing services. If any of y’all need some guidance, I’ll be happy to help. My email is [email protected] ... show more

  • Didn't last three months
Out of the box the vacuum was easy to assemble and understand. I worked great, cleaning our 18 foot above ground pool all summer long. I went to use it closing to pool for the winter and the unit acted strange, the light would blink. It repeated this over an over for less than 10 minutes until the battery was fully drained. I checked the impellers, there was some hair wrapped on the shaft but this was not a great enough restriction to overload the motor. I cleaned the hair and the unit repeated its behavior. Next, I carefully opened the motor casing so I could examine the motors, circuitry, and battery. The inside casing was clean and dry (no leaks) but had that f burnt electrical smell (you either know what I'm talking about or I can't explain it), it wasn't really bad, but enough to know there were some high temps building up during operation. I tested the unit out of water and found that the amps from the battery were very low, this is an indication that the battery has lost some of it's cells and cannot operate at full function. I checked all connections, sealed the unit back up and tested again - same thing. Typical rechargeable equipment today has a battery with many individual cells, each cell must be able to hold a charge for the equipment to work properly. With most equipment, as the cells burn out, the battery makes more heat as it discharges and most times causes other damage to the circuitry. Needless to say, the vacuum is unusable after a little over 3 months of use, this is not worth the money paid for it. Replacing the battery is always a questionable fix, because other cascading damage may have already happened as the battery declined, and a new battery might not completely fix the unit. ... show more

  • Incredible vacuum!
Just tried this pool vacuum today! Wow! This is a great product! Easy to set up. Completely cleaned my pool. Easy to empty and rinse. We’ve been vacuuming the pool with a hose and pool brush. This is way better! Definitely satisfied! 10++

  • My daily cleaner
So at first I had issues with the robot not completing its cycle. I contacted the seller and after troubleshooting they sent a new unit. So far so good. This robot picks up ypretty much everything from the pool floor. It will keep up any dead algae at times, but also sucks some up too. Leaves, bugs, sand… all sucked up nicely. I still have to use my manual vacuum (water blaster w/ filter) to go around the edges since I have a round pool and the robot can’t get the crevices. It doesn’t climb the wall but it goes up a little with the momentum it has. It’s still not completing the cycle each time (wall to wall) but my pool floor has been clean since using it. Charging does take all of 4/5hrs on average. VERY IMPORTANT, lift the robot out the poo straight up with no angle to ensure the waste deinstalled fall back in the pool. I typically pull the string up slowly to balance it and the. Grab one handle then the next and pull it out the water evenly. It will leak if you pull it out on angle. The screen inside is great and the unit is fairly easy to clean once you get it out the water ... show more
