I got this chair specifically because my other office chairs would last exactly 1 year before they were worn out. I've used this one every day for over 6 years, and it's just like when I bought it. There's no pleather to wear away or get scratched. The hydraulic lift works perfectly still. I rarely even think about it; it's just my comfortable chair I can always come home to.     • Seat too narrow
I'm 6'0 and 190lbs, the seat wasn't even close to wide enough for me. My butt hit both sides of the frame that supports the mesh seat.

    • The definition of good enough.
Don't put this chair together yourself, if you have weak hands, or hand issues. It will HURT you if you try, the machining on it is rather poor. The tool they provide works, but honestly you should use an outside tool instead. Looking past that, it's easy to figure out where goes where, there's only eight screws if I recall correctly. The actual chair once assembled is sturdy, as for comfort? No it's not really comfortable, I sit in it for around five to twelve hours a day. So I've learned there's only really one sitting position, that's the "right" one. Even then, the comfort is alright at best, not something I would write home about. A side note, for people who are picky about the arms. The pictures don't show it that well, but they slowly raise into a lump in the front. I'm not sure if this is to look fancy, or be some sort of wrist rest. Either way it's terrible, do not buy this chair if you need a flat surface. End of the day, the chair is good enough for the price. If I could go back, I would save my money and buy something else. Also, no headrest option even though the directions show a headrest. This chair would be a lot better with a headrest. ... show more

    • Great office chair UPDATE - 4 years old and still great!
great chair, fully adjustable, easily assembled. I would recommend this product. The shipping was much faster than expected. UPDATE--- Have had this chair for over 4 years now. If this chair were to break today, I would order the same thing. The last 12 months of Work From Home with this CoVid situation proved to me that this is the right chair for me. I am 6' 2" and weigh right around 250 pounds. The seat bottom fits me well, if my hips were to expand a lot wider, I could simply adjust the armrests out further. There is excellent shoulder support, and the lumbar support is good. When I purchased this chair, I had hardwood floors and didn't want to date them, so I installed skate wheels. The skate wheels didn't change the overall height according to the official dimensions listed. This wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive option out there, but the reviews back in 2016 and 2017 were solid. I took a chance and I am very pleased I did. This chair was not comfortable at all, I went back to my old managers chair. The seat is too hard and does not cushion. I realized now you can't buy a chair online, you have to sit in it and test it out. Physical stores are good for something. If i could return it, I would but already through the box away and assembled the chair. ... show more

    • Durable and comfortable but needs assembly not too easy.
It just arrived. If you need a comfortable chair in an A1 Abrahams tank, this definitely feels like it belongs in there. The piece is so sturdy and made with solid parts The back and SEAT being mesh keeps you cool. I wanted a mesh seat and not just a mesh back - seat is just as important to keep you cool PROS: -very sturdy (so far). The materials are durable and not just cheap (so far). -the metal components are coated to prevent rusting (too easy). My last chair used standard steel alloy which is rusting at the arm joints. -the seat and back are very comfortable. The back mesh has an additional lumbar cushion behind the mesh as extra support. 5 stars -arms and seat rise/lower to your height (standard nothing surprising. - there is a nice amount of resistance when leaning back normally to stretch. CONS: - The tool that came with this makes it hard to assemble- I have my own toolbox so it wasn't too bad but if you don't, it will be a lot harder. -1star - screwing in the parts secure uses a ton of strength (or power tools (don't really recommend). My hands are raw after putting it together. -1 star - the arms adjust out for wider shoulders/arms with knobs vs click switch (that my other chair easily does. They don't angle out. -1 star -the seat sliding forward and back isn't very responsive. Overall I feel this is a very good purchase and I will still recommend it despite the difficulty of assembly. The sturdiness I am impressed with but the inflexibility of the arms may annoy me. If you keep your elbow/arms in the same place nonstop, this will not be an issue. Other thoughts - it would have been nice if they included an optional headrest. ... show more

    • Comfortable, adjustable with good back support
I purchased this chair for an employee that was complaining that their current chair didn't provide any lower back support. This chair provides great back support and is very comfortable. The arms are adjustable up and down and in and out. The back will either tilt or lock into place. The back tilt is also has a tension adjustment so you can adjust how far back it will tilt. Assembly took about 30 minutes. The instructions did lack a little, but wasn't hard to figure out. You are only given an assembly drawing instead of a step by step instructions.
