Description

Bissell BigGreen Commercial BG9100NM cord-free electric floor sweeper has a rechargeable battery and an 11.5" cleaning path and is less bulky than typical vacuum cleaners, making it well suited for quick cleanups. The motor's geared vacuum belt has teeth to help prevent slippage. The roller brush and wheels have been laser-balanced for smooth operation. The roller brush bushings are made of titanium, which is resistant to corrosion. The front housing is clear so that blockages can be spotted. The dust bin has a capacity of 17 ounces and can be removed for emptying. A wall mount allows the sweeper to be hung for storage. The sweeper weighs 3.9 pounds.

  • Everyday Restaurant Use
Style: Cordless Sweeper
I purchased the bissel commercial sweeper after only owning the shark for about a month before the handle snapped. ive been using the bissel for about 7 months now and its held up well. i use it in a restaurant 6 days a week picking up food and dirt and every other thing customers leave on the floor... is it as powerful as a vacuum? no but its much quieter and it doesnt clog. also the battery last me 3 shifts + wich is nice bc i forget to charge it all the time. the only thing i didnt like at 1st was the head doesnt pivot like the shark did but thats probly why its held up and now im use to it so its no longer an issue. i definately reccomend it just remember this advice. it doesnt matter what you got shark, bissel, dyson, rainbow, DONT LET ANYONE ELSE USE IT ... show more

  • all of the product
Style: Cordless Sweeper
So here goes. Bought this sweeper almost one year ago. live alone so I don"t need to use it so often. After a short time it started to make this awful awful sound . Tried to clean the brush. No luck. So I Iput the extra one in. The one that came with it. That didn't work.I called Bissel and was told that they have had problems like this in the past. So they sent me a referbished one. It only worked for a short time plus the new battery.lasted no more than 10 minutes. I timed it! Noise was just as loud. Well it finally went to the garbage. I don't feel as if it had to to be a refurbished one. They must not back up on there products. so I reorderd my shark which I liked in the first. I would give Bissell a zero star. so Bissell got one star. It must have some quality couldn't but I couldn't find one. Never again. As shark it shall be. ... show more

  • I liked it so much at work, I bought one for the house.
Style: Cordless Sweeper
Ok, let’s be clear: If you use carefully and are not abusive, these will last you a couple of years before they wear out. For home use, they could possibly last a lot longer, unless your kids are playing with them. I worked in a VERY large restaurant, and we cleaned the entire place twice a day with these and almost never had to use actual vacuum cleaners, they worked so well. The only weakness is in the arm itself. It WILL break, so quit yanking it around. The primary weakness is just below the circular grip at the top. Once it breaks, you can still use it, its just less convenient since the arm is now a lot shorter. Also, please clean the trash out after each use, or it will get gunked up. Even then, though, it’s not hard to wash out in the sink. The beater bar is quite simple to remove and clean, but be careful putting it back in, or the plastic locking mechanism will break. I know I’m making it sound like this is a fragile machine, and it’s NOT. I’m just saying that if you’re using it constantly, and it’s being operated by busboys who don’t care, it has these weaknesses and won’t last forever. ... show more

  • Static issue
Style: Cordless Sweeper
Overall I like this product. The missing edge cleaner is a bit of an issue but having a replaceable battery is more important to me. Biggest issue with the product is the base is too close to the floor and is all plastic which creates excessive static between the sweeper and the flooring. This issue causes a lot of the pet hair and any other debris that become static to stick to the bottom of the sweeper and tends to smear it around on the floor surface. I covered the bottom plastic plate with painters tape. It helped a bit but not enough. I'll be using this sweeper in the basement only now. Too frustrated with the static issue on the main floor areas. Using my old lesser model that I really love except they do not have a replaceable battery pack so when the batteries are done so is the sweeper. Shame on you Bissell. How many of those are in landfills because of that! ... show more

  • Time will tell if the Commercial holds up better than the Turbo, but so far I really like it.
Style: Cordless Sweeper
I've had a few of the Turbos. Time will tell if the Commercial holds up better, but there are several features I like about the Commercial, over the Turbo. On the Commercial: - The dust bin / collector is a better design - Came with 2 types of roller brushes, one is an easy-clean pet hair one - The rechargeable battery is removable for charging, which is a feature I really like. Or you can leave it in and charge it. I have a kitten and small AC adapter cords are something she loves to mess with and chew on. So the fact I can take the battery out and charge it on a counter is great. - I use this at least once a day in several areas of the house and only have to charge it maybe once 2-3 weeks. So far I really like this Commercial over the Turbo. The one thing I would change is to make the handle lockable at the base of the unit. That way you could do stairs with it. ... show more

  • Not very durable for a "commercial" sweeper
Style: Cordless Sweeper
Had my sweeper for about 14 months. At first it worked really well. We have three pets so we have a lot of fur and my dog eats his treats on the carpet. initially it picked everything fairly well. Now it picks up the fur but spins it around the brush and leaves clumps of fur when I pull it back. I've cleaned the brush off multiple times but doesn't seem to help. A couple of months ago it started making a clunking noise after it was on for a few minutes. I specifically bought it because it was labeled commercial grade. If this is a commercial product, I'd hate to see a regular one. ... show more
