I just put this together and it took about 90 minutes. Tools are included. I am concerned about how well the fabric will hold up. It isn't particularly tight and it feels thin, but it looks great. Sitting in the chair (I'm 6' tall and 210#), it is wider and firmer than my old chair, but the lumbar pad helps. I tend to curl my legs under the chair, and they hit the footrest, which is about 2" thick. I feel like the chair is very well constructed. The frame was heavy and mostly metal. One thing that particularly stood out was how easily it rolls on my office floor pad. My old chair was very difficult to move around, and this one glides like a figure skater on fresh ice! In terms of construction, there was only one issue. The bottom of the seat has a white sticker that says "Front" with a directional arrow ... that's awesome. However, it was a bit difficult to figure out how to connect the foot rest. A similar sticker would have saved me about 15 minutes of work! The post for the footrest also swivels, so the direction is not intuitive. Also, the instructions did not clearly explain which way the metal piece that affixes the back of the chair goes. It's easy to figure out, but a small sticker on the metal piece and a matching one on the chair back would be helpful, as would a little bit better diagram in the instructions (a side view showing which way the notch goes would be perfect!). This is a very nit-picky review, I know, but if I'm taking the time to write one, I might as well make it purposeful and helpful, yes? ... show more

I am 5'9 250. While a chair is overly wide even for me it does not go up high enough. When I sit at the highest level I feel like my knees are almost high stomach height. The bottom the seat of the chair is also extremely hard and uncomfortable. There is a back cushion that is super helpful. But I had to purchase a seat cushion to try to make myself sit up higher and to make the seat softer. So mad I miss the one the return window. ... show more
