I’ve ordered two different cushions like this, and this one is my least favorite but it works! I got this one for my vehicle after experiencing intense lower back and sciatic pain for a solid month. You know the kind that wakes you up screaming in the night and makes you cry all day while simultaneously ruining your whole life...yeah...but with this cushion, now I can drive in my car again, and even for long periods of time! It’s pretty thick so I had to adjust my seat down, and it’s a bit hard but it isn’t uncomfortable above my knees like my other one was for a while. I’m sure it’s still a bit hard because I spend much less time in my car then my office chair where my other one is. After a while of use, these gel enhanced cushions very comfortably mold to the shape of your bum and legs, while still allowing your tailbone to float. This product is alright, and definitely helps the sciatica pain from coming back, but my As Seen On Tv Perfect Cushion Memory Foam one was way better and more comfy. Aesthetically, the Healthy Spirit Gel Enhanced Seat Cushion one is better.

The difference between sitting on this cushion and not, is night and day. I have just returned from the hospital and am more sedentary than usual. The glutes aren't what they once were (given that we all exchange a lb of muscle for a lb of fat *every year* after 30) and this cushion is a huge help. The *absolute brilliance and perfection* of the coccyx cutout cannot be overstated. But use caution: after first sitting on this, the joy was overwhelming and I exclaimed, loudly: "Oh, my god!"
