I don't like sitting in chairs. I know that's weird, but I have short legs and most chairs are too tall and my legs don't firmly plant in the ground and it's just uncomfortable. I will often choose to sit on the floor with my legs crossed like I'm waiting for story time. This has been a problem for work from home. First I tried a floor desk set up, but I was so far below my windows I felt like I was in a cave. For a while I used my husband's big and tall chair because it was wide enough for me to sit cross legged on but I could only really sit in that position comfortably for so long before my body reminded me that I'm in my mid thirties. I considered one of the specialty cross legged chairs but they didn't have backs and just seemed like they would be useless if you wanted to sit literally any other way. Plus, they are EXPENSIVE for something that doesn't seem very versatile. Enter my new favorite chair, maybe in the whole world? I had this thought that maybe I could use the leg rest shelf as extra space for crossed legs....AND I CAN! Plus, I can pull my knees up to my chest, I can stretch my legs out, I can have one knee up and one leg curled. The way it's designed where the leg rest pulls out makes it really easy to position the leg rest wherever it makes sense for how you like to sit! And the damn chair is just really comfy too. The mesh means there's airflow and my back doesn't get sweaty. The chair cushion is a little firm but well shaped and I don't find that I get sore sitting in it for hours a day. The head rest is adjustable enough that it can be positioned well for 5ft2 me and 6ft2 husband. My wfh setup is in my living room and I find myself graduating to my chair over our giant couch sometimes to watch TV. It took a while to put together but the instructions were easy and I was able to do it myself without any problems. I also like the shape of the back of the chair. Nice amount of support without feeling like something is pushing on you. The little lumbar pillow was a nice addition but not necessary for me. I don't imagine I'll use the recline feature too much but it is comfy in that position if that's appealing to you. I've only had the chair for a couple weeks now so I can't attest to longevity but it feels sturdy. Honestly, as much as I love it if it lasted 1.5 years I would happily buy another. My husband who sits in chairs like a normal human also thinks it's pretty comfy and is considering one for himself, and he usually gets the really pricy big and tall leather chairs. I know this was stupid long for a chair review but I really do just love it that much. Criss Cross Applesauce adults of the world rejoice!

I'm a 40 year old female with tailbone injury. I also have pain in my joints and hands but I was able to assemble this easily. The only thing I had trouble with was snapping the wheels in place, had to ask my hubby to do that. It's very comfortable and the footrest is super helpful for me sit with my legs crossed or straight. The specialty tailbone pain chairs are very pricey but I found this chair to get the job done for me and I can work 8 hours a day with zero tailbone pain. I love the little pillow that comes with it too, gives me extra cushion for lower back. Also the armrests are very nice. Highly recommend getting it.

It's cute. Looks nice in my office- chic! And it is comfortable enough , especially for the price. I would have given it a higher overall rating had it not been for the smell. I have to keep my window open to get fresh air, or I would gag. . It is not stink like BO or such. I suspect it must be something they use on the fabric for whatever reason. Update: The smell is gone. After a few days. Upgraded to 4 stars.

I acutally really like this chair. I found it through an Instagram post to a different chair but went with this one because the shipping time was faster. I needed to replace my lumpy bumpy office chair. I'm very happy with this one! I would highly recommend it for any one who likes to sit cris-crossed. I really like the foot stool option too! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Received this chair just today and took around an hour to put it together. I am sitting in it now and it is comfortable, except for the headrest. I am around 5'11" and the headrest hits me on the top of the back even when fully extended. Seems like it is made for shorter people. However, when I recline in the chair, my head does fit the headrest, and unless I lean back I do not notice it in the upright position. My previous chair was also a reclining desk chair, super comfortable (VIVA OFFICE High Back Bonded Leather Recliner Chair with Footrest), which is no longer available. I don't think I would order it again anyway because after 7 1/2 years the bonded leather was pealing off all over and making a mess as well as looking, well, ugly. But back to this chair, unlike the VIVA chair this one cannot recline fully. Admittedly I used the full recline only 3 or 4 times in the whole time I had it, but it was nice to have the option. This chair does have a retractable footrest, and again it seems made for a slightly smaller person. This chair is solid and well made and the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow (they also have an assembly video which is on the Amazon site). The wheels are easy to roll, better than my previous chair. Because this is not bonded leather I expect it to last longer, but time will tell. This chair is about half the price of the VIVA, and I do feel it is a good value for the money. I would recommend this chair to just about everyone because of the comfort, the adjustable height, and the reclining option. Update: The chair continues to grow on me. After many hours sitting, it is still comfortable despite my sciatica issues (most chairs and airline seats get uncomfortable after an hour or so of sitting). Even the looks are top notch and build quality is excellent. Unlike another reviewer I find the lumbar support pillow is a help. Doesn't matter that it doesn't attach, it sits well a the back of the seat and I have never had it move.

I gave it a five star on Easy to Assemble, since I had someone else assemble it for me, and he didn't complain about the assembly. Of course, for the price, you don't expect a cushy comfort chair. I use it mostly with my leg exercise machine, and it works fine for that. The wheels don't roll even though the floor is not level. My only complaint is I wish the arm rests where a little longer.
