There are lots of features to like about this chair, but also a couple of disappointments. As expected, you have to assemble the chair yourself. The two boxes are large, so be prepared to deal with a kit that is bulky and might be hard to fit in a car. On the plus side, it isn't very heavy. The instructions suggest two people, but I was able to put it together by myself in about 15 minutes. The kit comes with everything you need, including an instruction booklet, screws, and a large Allen wrench. Keep the wrench, as you might need to re-tighten some screws after using the chair for a while. The instructions are mostly clear, though they could have labeled the screws a little better. The company was good enough to add extras of all three types of screws used; that was very helpful! Overall, it was easy to assemble. The chair is mostly made of hard plastic, though the screws go into metal. Because of the materials used, the chair is pretty light and easy to move around. The seat is made of dense memory foam that is not overly soft. It is about as firm as a firm memory foam mattress. The back is an open mesh material to allow air to flow through. I really like chairs with web backs as they keep my back from getting sweaty. I'm happy to say the arms can swing out of the way, which makes typing easier. They are cloth-covered foam and are softer than the seat. I would have preferred something other than cloth for both the seat and the arms as cloth is harder to clean than leather or vinyl, and can wear out faster. I'll be covering the seat with something so that it lasts longer. There is also a mesh headrest. The height of the seat can be adjusted from very low to reasonably high. I'd say that it would be comfortable for people from 5'4" to about 6 feet tall. Maybe a little taller. There is a lumbar adjustment cushion that can be pushed in and out for more/less support. Again, it would have been nice if it could have been raised and lowered. It is not in a place that works that well for my back. The chair is supported on a 5-star roller base with wheels that glide smoothly and quietly. Overall, the chair feels pretty sturdy. Now, for the few things that I don't like. First, you have to screw the 5 metal base legs into the center column. I would prefer a base that is a single unit. This seems sturdy enough, but I'd hate to have one of those screws come out when I'm sitting in the chair. Next, the back does tilt backwards, but it is anchored to the seat, so they move together. This isn't comfortable on my legs and I won't be using the feature much. That means the headrest is also not of much use. The back is also not adjustable. It is leaned back slightly, which is not good for my back (or most people's). I will have to buy an additional pillow or cushion so that I can sit up straight with some light back support. So, overall, I think this is a very nice chair that I will like once I've made some additions. You might not find the thing I have issues with that big of a deal. Given the price, I think this is a decent value, but not an exceptional one. I know there are better chairs out these, as I've used them. Aeron chairs are excellent, though quite a bit more expensive. I would recommend this chair if you don't mind my issues with it.

I am very happy with this office chair! It was easy to assemble even though the directions were just okay. They did provide a really nice allen wrench with a T-handle which made the assembly MUCH easier than it would have been had they only provided the standard L-shaped one. The chair looks great and is super supportive and comfortable for me. I particularly like the thick, wide, padded seat which is firm but thick enough that it supports my bony rear end. I also like the thick padded armrests which add a level of comfort I've not experienced even in my $1,500 office chair! I like that they flip up out of the way so you can push the chair all the way under a desk with ease without having to lower the seat height. The caveat to that is that they do not adjust up/down which might be a deal breaker for some people. Both the seat and arm rest pads are covered in a fine, soft material that resembles canvas but is more pliable. The fabric is fairly thin so it remains to be seen how it will hold up over time. The mesh back and headrest are made of a stretchy but supportive mesh fabric with horizontal lines that add a design element to the expansive back and head support. The lumbar support and headrest are both easily adjustable. The tilt/rocking is also fairly easily adjustable with the tilt lock lever underneath the chair and the large tilt tension dial easy to rotate. The raise/lower lever is also easy to operate on the right hand side of the chair. I got the gray/white coloration but I think I'd get the black if I were ordering it again. The gray/white, while not as visually heavy, is visually distracting with the 2 colors. I would have preferred all white. The chair seems to be very solidly built. All the components seemed to be high quality as I examined each while assembling. At $170, I think this chair is a fantastic value! I hope that it holds up and will update this review if it does not.

I spend a lot of hours at my desk, and this chair has made it a lot easier on my back. The mesh keeps me cooler than my old padded chair, and the S-shaped back actually does line up with my spine in a way that feels supportive. The seat is wide and cushy without feeling bulky, and I can sit for long stretches without that usual leg numbness. I like that the armrests flip up so I can slide the chair under the desk when I’m done — saves space in a small room. The rocking feature is a nice bonus for quick breaks, and the wheels roll smoothly on both carpet and hardwood. Assembly was straightforward, took me maybe 15 minutes, and everything lined up the way it should. Solid chair that makes working (or binge-watching, let’s be honest) a lot more comfortable.

Decent chair and definitely a good value for the price. It’s not the highest quality, but it does the job and should last about a year or so. I really like the white and grey. It brightens up my workspace nicely. Comfortable enough for daily use and worth it for what you pay.
