Bought for my daughter's college days so I wanted something inexpensive that I can abandon (if needed) once she graduates or if the chair breaks, I won't feel too bad money-wise. That said, it's a sturdy chair that came with clear instructions, is easy to assemble with the included hex key tool. The chair back and fold up hard arm rest are plastic while the seat base is fabric. Time will tell how durable the seat fabric and foam cushion will last. Chair inclines but not lockable in an incline position but it does lock in an upright position.     • For the price, this is a fine chair
I condition my ratings on products weighing price. I might give a 5 star rating for a product, but for a similar product costing 2 - 3X more I might give it only 3 or 4 stars. I'm giving this one 5 stars in part because it's a quality chair that's reasonably comfortable for an astoundingly low price. I paid about the same price for a similar chair at a big box store about four years ago, but it was less comfortable, lacked arm rests, and did not recline at all. I've only been using this chair for about a month. The seat padding is reasonable for the. price, but because I have a bony butt, I use a simple piece of upholstery foam to pad the seat. I dangle a thick bath towel over the back to soften it a bit. Perfectly fine. I really like the arm rests, though may add some aftermarket pads at some point. The height is easily and smoothly adjustable, as is the pressure for the recliner function. And the casters on the legs not only roll very easily, but are super quiet when rolling on my artificial hardwood floors. I live in a 2nd floor apartment, so my downstairs neighbor no doubt appreciates them even more than me (since he said he could hear me moving in my old chair). My only serious complaint about the chair is that one piece of the under seat mechanism had some very sharp little shards sticking up left over from the manufacturing process that should have been filed off at the factory. Found them "accidentally" when handling the parts before assembly. Fortunately, I didn't cut myself. I used a file to remove them before assembly. So I recommend that buyers inspect the parts carefully when unboxing and assembling. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with my chair, and anticipate that it will last years. ... show more

    • Super comfortable for the price
I had been looking to upgrade my cheap pleather Wal-Mart wheeled office chair for about a year. As it did not have sufficient padding or back support necessary for longer sitting intervals. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to put on together as well as the ergonomic benefits I noticed right away. As a guitar player, I thought I was stuck with always having to have an armless chair. When I saw the adjustable arm rests, I was sold! Don’t think you will find a better chair for the price range. Are there more comfortable/ergonomic office chairs out there? Absolutely. However, this doesn’t feel cheap and the padding is adequate. My only gripe is that since the padding is made out of a more cloth/felt like material rather than leather, it can tend to get a little warm after long periods of sitting. But that’s probably a sign to go take a walk anyways! I’d recommend this chair to anyone looking for something better than the cheapest chair you can find. The manual did recommend tightening the screws with the provided Allen wrench, which has turned out to be solid advice! ... show more

These are really nice chairs. They are very comfortable. For me, the back support is just what I needed. The seat padding is comfy. I like the movable armrests and the height adjusts easily. They were really easy to assemble.

I think this chair will hold up for how much you pay for it. I mean I have only had it a week, but for under $60 I think this is a good adult looking chair to compliment your office. It isn't the best, it isn't the softest, but I would buy again if it breaks in a year. I don't have $300 to invest in an office/gaming chair. This has been comfy to sit in for 3+ hours. I have not tried 5 hours, but they say to get up and stretch your legs anyways! ... show more
