The media could not be loaded. I have had a myriad of different car audio setups throughout my lifetime; JL 13w7 in the HO wedge box, two Alpine Type X in sealed and ported boxes, etc. I purchased two of these subs (and had to run them at 4 ohm because after trying to order the 2 ohm version 3 times, Amazon sent me the 4 ohm version every time!) But even with this setup not being able to achieve my amp's full output at 1 ohm, these subs in my custom built box (ideal to manufacturer spec) absolutely take my breath away. The sound quality is mind boggling for such an inexpensive driver, and I'd absolutely compare it to that of the JL. Is it all the way there? Of course not. Will it last as long as the JL? Only time will tell. I initially purchased these subs because I noticed the high sensitivity and wanted to test how important that spec was. To say I'm impressed is a dramatic understatement! Buy these subs, give them 2 cubic feet PER SUB with a properly tuned port, and these will be the last subs you need to blow your vehicle apart with a smile on your face :) Way to go Audiopipe!!! ... show more

These are a heavier sub, and the price point is very nice in comparison to other brands and models. Features a high roll surround and will destroy the low notes if you let it. I have them in a 4 ft.ยณ box tune to 32 Hz in my Model 3 on a Taramps 3k and it loves it. The value for the money is definitely there and the shipping is quick. This sub hits harder than you think, i had it at 1500 true watts at 1ohm for a few months and put it threw about an hour a day of a wide range of bass and it doesnโ€™t disappoint, i have it now in a smaller sealed box with about 600 watts at 4 ohms with a wider rage of frequency adjusted and it sounds great, still hits hard and does not drown out the mids and highs, i even damaged the rubber and i donโ€™t see or hear a difference ... show more

Wow love the sub this is my second one but wtf happen to the bolts one side barely cam out the second one won't budge this is not my first time dealing with this sub either... I could not complain definitely sound great and hit hard the bass sound clear and solid and when I first hooked them up and lows would hit so hard it would make the stereo cut out like I had a CD playing and started skipping. So overall definitely have to say they are worth every bit of what I paid
