The media could not be loaded. I have had a myriad of different car audio setups throughout my lifetime; JL 13w7 in the HO wedge box, two Alpine Type X in sealed and ported boxes, etc. I purchased two of these subs (and had to run them at 4 ohm because after trying to order the 2 ohm version 3 times, Amazon sent me the 4 ohm version every time!) But even with this setup not being able to achieve my amp's full output at 1 ohm, these subs in my custom built box (ideal to manufacturer spec) absolutely take my breath away. The sound quality is mind boggling for such an inexpensive driver, and I'd absolutely compare it to that of the JL. Is it all the way there? Of course not. Will it last as long as the JL? Only time will tell. I initially purchased these subs because I noticed the high sensitivity and wanted to test how important that spec was. To say I'm impressed is a dramatic understatement! Buy these subs, give them 2 cubic feet PER SUB with a properly tuned port, and these will be the last subs you need to blow your vehicle apart with a smile on your face :) Way to go Audiopipe!!! ... show more

These are a heavier sub, and the price point is very nice in comparison to other brands and models. Features a high roll surround and will destroy the low notes if you let it. I have them in a 4 ft.³ box tune to 32 Hz in my Model 3 on a Taramps 3k and it loves it. The value for the money is definitely there and the shipping is quick. This sub hits harder than you think, i had it at 1500 true watts at 1ohm for a few months and put it threw about an hour a day of a wide range of bass and it doesn’t disappoint, i have it now in a smaller sealed box with about 600 watts at 4 ohms with a wider rage of frequency adjusted and it sounds great, still hits hard and does not drown out the mids and highs, i even damaged the rubber and i don’t see or hear a difference ... show more

I’ve been a car audio enthusiast for 12 years now and have run JL Audio, Alpine, and Kicker. I’ve heard a lot of subs and although I feel JL Audio will always be the best sound, I’ve been wanting to find another brand to use in my daily driver. So I did a lot of research looking for other non big box brand subwoofers. There are A LOT to choose from! I’ve heard mixed reviews about customer service from Skar Audio, a lot of good things about Sundown Audio, as well as B2 Audio, and DC Audio etc. what lead me to try out the Audiopipe was the value. For what I paid, nearly saving $100 compared to my Alpine Type R, I got way more that what the price would lead you to believe! I was running two 12” Alpine Swr-12D2 pushing 1000w Rms in a sealed box and just one of these Audiopipe BDC4 12 hits just as hard as both of those did in a ported box!!! I could not complain definitely sound great and hit hard the bass sound clear and solid and when I first hooked them up and lows would hit so hard it would make the stereo cut out like I had a CD playing and started skipping. So overall definitely have to say they are worth every bit of what I paid

I purchased this for my daily driver honda to have a bit more "bang" than the powerbass 3xl12 I had in it previously. Let me just say this, I didn't even think of these at first. I was about ready to pull the trigger on a certain "EVL" subwoofer, when my buddy reminded of these. I COULDN'T be happier with my choice to go audiopipe. I have it on a HELIX B One amp at 1ohm (950rms) and its loving it, even in an atrend prefab (for now) the surround is HUGE (the same size, if not bigger than my sundown x12s) and gives the woofer a big, beefy look.
