I'm not crazy about mesh chairs, as I don't like the material. (My cat and her claws like it, though.) But I didn't want to spend too much $ on a new chair. By reviews, you generally can't predict how great a product is long-term, so the purchase is a gamble. It took about 30 min to put together and I did it by myself. The instructions are explicit and so is the packaging for the hardware. There are even some extras in case an item is missing. The height adjustment is easy. Lumbar support sometimes feels it's in the right position, sometimes doesn't. This is for computer, so I have to sit at the height best for keying. I have some issue with the chair as I keep feeling my legs are going to slide off it, or I will. Tipping. There's no adjustment to modifying the seat for that issue! Maybe it's the length of my legs as the end of the seat is quite a bit from the back of my knees. I was on Amazon comparing chairs and reviews as well as prices and stumbled across this one just before I closed out of the site. The purple got my attention though it's not a favorite color of mine. In fact, all my browsing was for the green or teal options. I guess this company doesn't do any shade of green. But I'm getting used to the purple. UPDATE: I've been using the chair daily, sometimes for extended periods of time. As in hours. The lumbar support feels as if it's in the right position. Me and the chair are adapting to each other. ANOTHER UPDATE: I watched some of the clips on the site and realized the reason my seat always felt I was about to tip over was because the height adjustment was on the left side instead of the right. It should be on the right side, for right hand adjustment, when you are sitting in the seat. This might be a common error as you affix it on the right when putting it together but then that becomes the left side when the chair is upright? So I took took it off and reversed and reattached and that is now okay. However, I haven't had any luck with rocking back. I've seen it done in videos. But the back of my chair is stiff and unyielding. Maybe they have a different model? I have tried it with arms both in down and raised position, and tried loosening the round Tilt knob below the seat. I don't know what that knob is for as loose or tight, it makes no difference. Otherwise, I have come to enjoy the purple color.

I bought this for around 125, which is not that worth it, considering it squeaks constantly from one of the caster wheels that has some issue with weight distribution, so every time you shift in your seat, it squeaks. Very irritating and noisy. It did this right after assembly, so it is not a wear-and-tear issue. However, right now the chair has a coupon that knocks the price down to under 110, so it's a decent consideration if you do not mind the noise, since it's difficult to find a comfortable chair in this price range. Other reviewers did not mention the squeaking, so I am assuming it's just a game of product quality roulette to see if you are unlucky. A few things you should keep in mind before deciding to get this: - The seat is pretty deep, so if you are a shorter person, this chair will not support your back since you will need to sit towards the front to make sure your knees bend at the edge of the seat. Best if you are 5' 8" and up. The person in the picture is six feet tall and you can see how far back he can sit. I am shorter and found myself sitting forward as I worked. - Chair cushion could be thicker and softer, but it's a nice fabric at least. Adding a separate cushion means you would need to adjust the lumbar support the highest it can go to compensate for the added seat height, but the lumbar piece has limited range so this won't work if you have a long torso. - Lumbar support is the biggest purchasing reason. It works quite well being height adjustable, but since it's just a plastic piece with hard edges it can dig into your back a bit. If you mind this, then you might want to consider getting a different chair that uses lumbar cushions or pillows instead. - Arm rest padding is hard, I had to add my own elastic slip on pads. - No neck support if you like leaning back in your chair. If your upper torso is long and you need some head support, then this chair won't be right for you. The seat back reaches about a bit shorter than shoulder height. Overall I would say to wait for a sale, it is decent quality if you get it at a fair price. Otherwise it's not a bad chair, but it isn't amazing or a bargain. Comfort is okay, provided you read the above points and make some adjustments (possibly adding your own seat cushion, arm pads, not needing neck support, etc.) Quality is pretty good and assembly was excellent with the provided tools, spare parts, and clear instructions.

Bought a ton of office chairs over the years. The last one, a $250+ gaming chair (supposedly for those who sit all day in them) was a bust. Out of hope I just bit the bullet and tried this one with little to no expectation. WHAT a SURPRISE! This chair has given me the best back support I have ever had in an office chair. The lumbar support is adjustable, so hits right where I need it. The seat cushion doesn’t match the memory foam comfort of a Serta chair I had, but is sufficient, even when using the chair for several hours. The flip-up arm rests are very convenient for storing in a small apt. Used this chair for 6 months, still going strong. I am so pleased with this chair, I can highly recommend it. One change I made was to purchase Office Oasis rollerblade style wheels, which I could also highly recommend. My only regret is that I didn’t wait and buy the purple chair, which was out of stock at the time.

The instructions were easy to follow, and the only tool needed was included, along with extra screws just in case. I’ve never seen an installation process that was so well documented. I wouldn’t mind if the arms were labeled L & R but it was easy enough to figure out when you looked at the way they connect to the back rest. I started putting it together about an hour ago and I am sitting in it ss I write this. Feels great, I’ve used mesh chairs before so I’m looking forward to some work from home comfort.

This is a very nice, basic office chair. It is comfortable and seems sturdy, and it adjusts in several different ways. I am happy with the chair, especially when you consider the price point. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear. It also comes with some extra hardware in case you need a spare screw, etc. I would buy it again.
