For me, this was one of the easiest things I have ever assembled. The directions were clear and watching the instructional video on Amazon before assembly made it a snap. The manufacturer appears to want to make sure that customers are satisfied with their product based on all the included directions, extra screws, bolts, etc. I was particularly amused by the pair of white gloves that were indluded for assembly to keep your hands clean. I'd been wanting a new office chair for quite some time - old one was getting pretty worn out. I asked ChatGPT what chair to check out, on a budget, that was well cushioned and supported my lower back. This chair came back top of the list. I watched it for quite some time, then on a holiday sale, finally grabbed it. It arrived quickly, packaged well - and assembled pretty easily. It was very nice that it also included a T handled hex wrench to put it together with. All in all, the chair is solid. It has a wide, comfortable seat, the lumbar support is good (and adjustable), it rolls well - and I really like that the arms fold up. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) I do wish the seat padding was slightly thicker - it's very good, but not fantastic; and 2) I wish the piston was a few inches longer for a bit more height adjustability. I don't think I sit very high, but I'm pretty much at the upper end of the height that it will do - and I can't imagine anyone sitting as low as it will go. Bottom line: it's a nice chair, and I would buy it again. ... show more

I bought this chair to replace a much more expensive linen one that was not getting the job done in terms of comfort during a full work day at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, shipping speed, and the thought that went into the assembly instructions and materials of the chair. I was nervous at first to try to put this together on my own because it came in a box I could lift easily so I assumed that meant many parts inside and possibly a full- on migraine. Well, all of the parts were marked with a full instruction booklet and tools needed to do the job including white cotton gloves! It also arrived within 24 hours and took me maybe 40 minutes to assemble. I didn't even need to McGyver any of the screws or parts. Everything fit together perfectly. It's very comfortable too with lumbar support, adjustable arms, ability to adjust the height of the chair no matter what the task, and it keeps my upper/lower back and spine happy! The seat cushion is comfortable too. I highly recommend this purchase if you are looking for a lightweight, easy to assemble addition to your home office. The gold color is pretty too and matches my more nuetral decor. For the price, it is a no brainer and the mesh back will keep me cool in the warmer months. I purchased this chair in 2025. It is a great chair and I love it. However recently one of the arm rests fell off. I tried to reinstall it but was unsuccessful. So I reached to the seller, explained the situation and provided pictures. The customer service I received from this seller is beyond excellent. They promptly replied to my inquiries, agreed to provide replacement parts for both arm rests and provided detailed instructions to install the arm rests. All of this communication happened over the course of about 3 weeks. The replacement parts arrived, were very easy to install, and work properly. 5 Stars – Great Value and Outstanding Customer Support For the price, I think the Mimoglad ergonomic office chair is an excellent value. It arrived well packaged, the instructions were clear, and assembly was straightforward. Once assembled, the chair feels sturdy and offers features you wouldn't normally expect at this price point. After putting it together, I couldn't get the tilt mechanism to work. I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting the issue. I tried every adjustment I could think of, but nothing seemed to work. I contacted Amazon, and despite having purchased the chair about four months earlier, the representative quickly helped me register for warranty support with Mimoglad. She assured me that Mimoglad would either resolve the problem or replace the chair if necessary. The next morning, I received a response from Mimoglad support. The representative confirmed that the chair does indeed have a tilt function and walked me through a couple of quick checks. In the second message, they asked me to verify that the tilt tension knob was positioned at the front of the chair. That immediately revealed the problem—I had installed the seat mechanism backward during assembly. It took less than two minutes to reverse it, and the chair worked exactly as designed. I was genuinely impressed with both Amazon's and Mimoglad's customer service. It was fast, intuitive, friendly, and, most importantly, effective. It's refreshing to find a company that stands behind its product and takes the time to help customers solve a problem quickly and with no hassle.
