Great, well-priced chair! Lots to put together but no different than an IKEA item. I will say that 1 step was confusing to me and I ended up visually damaging a bit of the exterior on one of the armrests, so here's my tip: For Step 3, make sure you put the round white surrounding piece into the circular hole before tightening. In the photo you really can't see that you need to put that white surrounding piece in first, and so I ended up tightening the screw without the white piece in there, and it pushed through the other side of the armrest. I realized what was happening too late, and now I have a small protrusion on the outside of the right armrest. Doesn't affect functionality and no one but me would notice, but I wanted to mention it. The back support is great as are the armrests, it rolls easily, and the seat is comfy. I love the white and black coloration, kinda reminds me of a black and white Tron vibe. Cats jumped onto it immediately upon my finishing putting it together, and they love sleeping on it at night. :) Update: Customer service is amazing!! I asked if they had a cylinder that was a bit longer so I could get a bigger range of movement up and down, and they immediately shipped (for free!) a new, longer cylinder. Really appreciate this company!

I bought this chair to replace a much more expensive linen one that was not getting the job done in terms of comfort during a full work day at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, shipping speed, and the thought that went into the assembly instructions and materials of the chair. I was nervous at first to try to put this together on my own because it came in a box I could lift easily so I assumed that meant many parts inside and possibly a full- on migraine. Well, all of the parts were marked with a full instruction booklet and tools needed to do the job including white cotton gloves! It also arrived within 24 hours and took me maybe 40 minutes to assemble. I didn't even need to McGyver any of the screws or parts. Everything fit together perfectly. It's very comfortable too with lumbar support, adjustable arms, ability to adjust the height of the chair no matter what the task, and it keeps my upper/lower back and spine happy! The seat cushion is comfortable too. I highly recommend this purchase if you are looking for a lightweight, easy to assemble addition to your home office. The gold color is pretty too and matches my more nuetral decor. For the price, it is a no brainer and the mesh back will keep me cool in the warmer months. Oh and the arms flip up too if you need to use this in a more compact space.

I'd been wanting a new office chair for quite some time - old one was getting pretty worn out. I asked ChatGPT what chair to check out, on a budget, that was well cushioned and supported my lower back. This chair came back top of the list. I watched it for quite some time, then on a holiday sale, finally grabbed it. It arrived quickly, packaged well - and assembled pretty easily. It was very nice that it also included a T handled hex wrench to put it together with. All in all, the chair is solid. It has a wide, comfortable seat, the lumbar support is good (and adjustable), it rolls well - and I really like that the arms fold up. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) I do wish the seat padding was slightly thicker - it's very good, but not fantastic; and 2) I wish the piston was a few inches longer for a bit more height adjustability. I don't think I sit very high, but I'm pretty much at the upper end of the height that it will do - and I can't imagine anyone sitting as low as it will go. Bottom line: it's a nice chair, and I would buy it again.

Very nice, very sturdy chair. It feels substantial without being bulky or too big for the space. It's super comfortable for me, the seat is generous, thick & soft, but not too much. All of the adjustments work smoothly & easily. It wasn't hard for a senior lady to put together with just the tool provided, the little gloves were a nice touch. The instructions were clear, pictures were helpful. Time will tell how it holds up, but overall, It's a nice, comfy good-looking chair. At first I was a bit disappointed in the color, it's more of a light navy than royal, but it fits in with the decor, so it's fine. I really like it!

This chair is a great value. Easy to assemble, comfortable and supportive, and attractive. I've had this chair a little over a month and so far, I particularly like the mesh back and the rocking feature. These allow for a comfortable typing and gaming posture. It is more comfortable than the bulky executive style chair I had previously. I am satisfied!

I was on the verge of buying the generic IKEA Swivel office chair, when someone told me that chair is too important for someone who constantly works from home. I looked at the review and took a shot at this chair, and oh wow it's a decent chair! Pros: - doesn't crack and no noise at all - supportive - adjustable height (haven't tried to adjust the tilt yet because the current tilt right after assemble is good for me) Cons: The chair itself is good, but the assembly instruction needs improvement: - assembly instruction incomplete, I only received one sheet in the package with only labels of the parts, instead of two sheets like many people did. The second sheet includes diagram of the assembly. Luckily, someone in the review section is kind enough to post a photo of it, so I was able to refer to that image and quickly assemble the chair - ABOUT THE TILTING DOWNWARDS: it tilts downwards only if you assemble it wrong! But it's because the instruction is not clear enough. BE AWARE of where the cylinder-looking thing on the controller is facing— look at the diagram, it should face to the front. The entire assembly is very easy so the instruction barely has any text, but I wish there's more explanation of orientation or emphasis of the importance of orientation on the section of controller. At last, a little tip for assembling the handles of the chair which I found most difficult to assemble: find a base or surface as support that push the seat cushion to the handle, and don't screw one screw too tightly, otherwise there'll be little wiggle room for the other screw. Put both the two screws loosely in place first, then screw them tight. Overall, very good chair, but I only had it for a day. If something comes up, I will come here and update. If you see no update, assume I'm still enjoying it so far : )

Most home office chairs these days are a weird modern design and this chair is no exception. I decided to just go with it anyway because these chairs are surprisingly comfortable and anything prettier than this design is not likely to have flip-up arms, while still being affordable. I need flip-up arms for the chair to fit under my desk. I got this in green and must say, it is a very nice shade of green. The lift/lower feature works well. I'm tall and thought possibly it wouldn't have enough range for me but, it does. It also has a rocking feature that can be turned on or off, which is nice. The seat swivels easily and the chair is on casters, of course. I took off one star because the weight rating on this chair is listed at 300 pounds. I don't see this chair as substantial enough for a 300-pound person to use on a daily basis. I think an occasional use of short duration would not be a problem but many people use their home office chair more than occasionally and for longer than a short stay. Ratings should be based on what a chair can hold with normal usage and I think this chair should be in the 225-250 range. That's just my opinion based on the materials and construction. I doubt it would take long for the chair to crack or break with extended use by a heavy person or at least, become squeaky and uncooperative. All in all, this chair is a good buy and functions well for anyone of average to slightly larger build. If you need a desk chair for someone over 250 pounds, I suggest looking for something a little more substantial.
