I picked this tank up mainly as a transition and quarantine setup for my betta, but it’s turned out to be a great little emergency tank for winter too. The built-in bottom filter keeps the water clear and runs quietly, which makes it easy to keep on a desk or counter without any buzzing. It’s compact but gives enough room for a single fish to stay active and comfortable. During colder month like now, it’s a lifesaver — the enclosed design and easy heating make it simple to keep temps steady around 78°F. Bought this fir my daughter as a Christmas present. She loves it. I usually have to clean it once a month. The filter does a pretty good job at keeping the tank clean. Comes with everything ready for set up. Would definitely buy again. But a bigger size. For now she is loving it.

I love this little fish tank! It has nearly everything you need to get started. I keep my tank full of ghost shrimp, and they seem to love swimming around the plant and hiding behind rocks. I also added some live plants, and the light that comes with the tank keeps them absolutely beautiful. The pump is also so quiet that you just have to make sure it's full of water before turning it on. The filter that comes with it is also very easy to remove and clean. I was skeptical at first, given how simple it seemed if the filter would actually clean the water, but it actually does a very good job, and you can tell it's time to clean because of the change in color from yellow to brown. The only thing I wish was different about this would be the water heater, simply because it doesn't regulate the temp, it just gets hotter and hotter. I bought a separate mini heater for cheap, and my shrimp are happy.

In all honesty. I would've given a 4, because it needs 2 usb outlets and an electrical socket. However it does have everything else you need. I added my own colored rocks and it is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. I had to modify my review because in less than 6 weeks the heater stopped working. I had no idea, my little guy almost literally froze to death. I purchased a digital heater and a new battery operated thermostat and now we are back in business.

Sturdy glass, all things needed to set up. Great to keep a betta, I did. You need to put the filter on the slowest setting as it has a current that would be too much for a fish with fins like this betta has. Use filter cover so fish doesn’t get sucked in or stuck on it. Temp is 76,which is good. Could be good for MALE guppies, too small for females, they will have babies.

If you’re new to bettas like I am, this is a convenient starter setup. The tank is a nice size for small spaces, and the glass looks clear and sturdy. The filter was loud. Tank is built super well, Comes with nice rocks and gravel and a plant, Very well packaged,Very nice but just not what i expected just because the grinding ,loud filter that I washed and everything. After this I went to a local store and got a 10 gallon tank KIT for 40$.
