There's a video review posted here by somebody who I'm sure is perfectly good at their rocket science day job showing the brackets that secure the back of this chair flexing wildly when even the slightest pressure is supplied. This person is SO good at their day job that they've decided they don't need instructions for something as simple as chair assembly, and as a result, they've installed their brackets incorrectly. There are TWO holes that secure the brackets to the chair base, and they've moved their bracket back by an inch or two, allowing them to only secure the bracket at a single point (which is obviously not going to be very strong). I can assure you that if you assemble this chair as designed, it doesn't flex like in that video. It feels just as solid as any other task chair I've sat in, and I'd say it feels better than most of the $150 Office Depot bargain bin ones that I've bought. The bottom cushion is quite firm, which gives me hope that it'll make it more than a year, and for me, the lumbar support is just right ... but I have a sore back that likes a little extra lumbar support, so this will be an individual thing. Just know that this chair does have lumbar support, and I'd say it's in the upper 25% of chairs in terms of how much it provides. I'm a 215lb 6'4" male and it's just right for me, so if you're half my weight, it might be too much for you. The assembly was extremely similar to other chairs I've done, with the only added bit of work being that the stand didn't come as a single piece, and instead as a hub to which each of the spokes had to be screwed with two screws. That's a net of 10 extra screws over one that comes with a 1-piece stand ... wasn't a big deal for me (and took maybe 5-10 extra minutes), but if that's a deal killer for you, keep it in mind. Overall, the assembly was LESS frustrating than the last Serta chair I put together from the office chair, which required extra work to route cables for controls in the arms and a few extra bits for an active lumbar support (this has none of that nonsense, being only $160). My copy of this chair (thankfully) had none of the extra gloppy bits of plastic in the holes that some of the other reviews have shown, if I'd had that, I'd probably have just asked Amazon to swap out the whole thing for me. Overall, I paid $600 for my last Serta and $160 for this. The difference in quality between the two is significantly less than the $440 difference in cost ... I suppose that the biggest differentiator will probably be in warranty, which has been rock solid when I've needed to deal with it for the Serta chairs. I can buy almost 4 of these for the cost of a Serta, though, so I'm not that concerned by that!

This chair is good looking. The white frame with colored padding is eye catching. Assembly was easy. The kit comes with a good hex tool to put in the screws. No additional tools are necessary. The chair goes fairly low to the ground so someone that is short will be able to use it. The bottom pad is large. I think the chair will fit someone fairly small to fairly big. The wide uses for the chain make it perfect to use wherever you need it.

This chair is comfortable, looks great and easy to put together. I like that the hardware came with an extra one each to be sure they were all there. It helps to put the seat on if you have two people or something to hold it close and don’t tighten one side too much until all the screws are in. It seems to be of good quality except the decorative plastic piece on the base is so flimsy it came broken. Also I needed to contact customer support because I can’t get the warranty registration to work. Hopefully that will go smoothly.

This chair is nice looking, comfortable, has lots of customization available and was easy to assemble. One major problem is that my shirt gets caught between the lumbar support piece and the chair back piece where the two pieces meet and it happens every single day!!! I have to wiggle it out and I know one day I will rip a shirt. What a stupid design flaw!!
