The seat is comfy with the arm rest but the lowest point it can go is a little bit high, however, it fits my current desk so I am fine with that now. This chair was very easy to assemble, the parts are identified by code, and are well described in the pictures of the assembly manual, so it is difficult to make a mistake. The backrest has an adjustment for the lumbar area which can be raised and lowered a little. The hand rests can be folded upwards so that they do not interfere with the desk top.
