Got this for 2 cars - 2013 335is & 2022 X3 M40i. Works flawlessly in both. Connection is super fast and works perfectly with Bimmerlink & Bimmercode. Super reliable, never had a dropped connection. Seems much faster than a cheap OBD2 adapter I've used before. Great for Bimmercode coding, super quick. And also great with Bimmerlink for reading codes, monitoring, etc. Also love that I can keep it plugged in even with the car off, since it has a low power mode and shuts itself off. If youre on the fence about spending a little more for a quality OBD2 adapter, just do it, it's worth it ... show more

This works great on my 2013 Mini Cooper S Roadster. It helps me identify and diagnose problems and do some of the repairs myself before I call my mechanic. It connects easily to my Android smartphone, and quickly lets me use Torque Pro, Bimmer Link, or Bimmer Code to pull or reset fault codes, or to provide some limited programming for features. ... show more

    • Worked for G01 BMW X3
This OBDII Adapter works pretty well, and does the job for my G01 BMW X3 M40i. - There are a couple status lights (Power, Bluetooth) on the device. - You need to install their App (iPhone or Android) from the App store. My only comment is that even though the car provides enough power to this device when the vehicle is running (Start button hit, and car running) when using it's own App, when in Accessory Mode (3 taps on the Start button, and car not running) it will not connect (using it's own App). This is odd. But it is possible that Android Carplay had something to do with this. While this might not seem like a big deal, the problem comes when using the Bimmerlink App in combination with this device. Because Bimmerlink App requires the car to be in Accessory mode (not running) in order to work (with most of it's menu features). I really had to experiment with Bimmerlink settings in order to get it to attach. And it did eventually work, even though it was only good for changing some settings within the BMW (Auto Start, Stop, etc). However Bimmerlink did NOT want to register my new Battery the other day, and I actually had to Start the car in order for this to work. The Bottom line is that this Adapter (while expensive) is very good it is also a bit finicky. The Bimmerlink App is not good at all. ... show more

Makes coding your BMW or MINI simple. No need to spend all day loading memory hogging files onto your laptop. Simply Pay $50.00 to get the bimmercode app, pair the OBD Link to your phone, and you're off. Simple! Coded pulsing flashers, window up with remote, and removed the speedometer correction from my '09 MINI Cooper in < 10 min. Great product!
