    • Too expensive for what it is
The product alone is just your typical OBD2 scanner and the only thing special is the software that it comes with. This unit is terribly overpriced and they know that there is nearly other company providing this type of service for the VAG owners so they take that to be able to hike up the price. Next the app is actually fairly nice but can be slow at times, however there is a problem here as well. If you like to use any of the more advanced features like battery adaptation you need to pay for a yearly subscription. Adding up this subscription and the average price for a dealership to do an adaptation this price is also way too expensive. I understand that there other features involved with this but I literally only need it for the adaptation. I feel like this should be a common enough thing that's needs to be done that it should be included with the already overly priced scanner. So I'm quite disappointed with this tool as a person that is about saving with doing it yourself, these kind of products and their outrageous prices make me actually think twice about just taking it to a shop or even better yet not buying cars that are so locked behind stupid practices like adapting a battery that was never necessary before. Replacing a battery should be literally one of the top five easiest maintenance things to do on a car and now it is behind a $140 pay wall plus an overly expensive battery.     • Great buy if you own a VW
Great product. I have a 2018 VW Atlas and other scanners would read all the fault codes. I was able to identify an issue with my rear wheel speed sensor which caused all the warning light to come on. I gave 4 starts as it is a bit confusing that there are 2 versions of the app. I got it working but not sure what the difference between the two versions are. Need to do some more research or rtfm. ... show more

Diagnostic are very accurate, keep it on my car for when I get a check engine light, easy to use come with adaptations for your car which you have to purchase but very easy to do

Let me start off by saying if you like doing things on your phone and you don't really want to dive very deep into your car than you will be fine with this. I had to replace my old VCDS program because it did not support my wife's Audi. I could have upgraded it but thought I would go cheap with the OBDeleven scan tool, seemed good enough at the time. I thought I had done my homework and saw in a chat where some folks were running it on an old Chromebook. I had one in my garage and thought it would work. Nope and I could not find an Android emulator that would work on Chromebook. It also will not run on a Windows PC I have using an Android emulator. So I have to run the scanner on my iPhone (which I really dislike.)You have to have credits to do much of anything and next to my old program it does not do much, especially long coding. If you just want to do small things and like using a small phone screen or tablet then this will do fine. Not blaming OBDeleven they state what devices it runs on and kinda, maybe, sort of tells you what it does. I contacted support and they were not much help. Looking back I wish I would have put out the extra money for a proven product that runs on Windows and does more. This just has not been a good experience for me. ... show more
