Was very easy to set up (Car need to be running to connect Bluetooth). Great for a first time purchase. The problem with ODB2 scanners is mainly the available applications, they are more for specialists and are not very adapted to the different car brands. My advice is to do your homework and look for the most adapted app for your car. I found a good one from Ford for my Diesel Everest. Still learning. Careful with what you click on, some options do mess up with the car's operation.

Biggest issue is that instructions direct you to an unsecure website to download the app. App is ok. Not great. Back buttons do not work. Kind of a pain to get synched w/ Bluetooth. All in all good for the price. I have a wired OBD scanner which was 3x the price and works 3x better, so if you want to get by with a cheap one, get this. It does work as far as scanning codes and clearing them.

Came in a nice little box along with instructions on pairing it to your android or iPhone device. I used the Torque Pro app that was $4.95 in the Google Play store. So far so good
