We purchased this coop in hopes to keep our girls warm in the Minnesota winter. This coop is in no way shape or form insulated for any amount of cold weather, it is good for a summer spring coop. The wood is cheap and came broken, cracked and did not fit well together so we had to make some adjustments to make it work. The directions are not well written and very very basic. The coop will only fit 3-4 chickens comfortably and our cat seemed to love it. The handles on the coop make it quite easy to move. The coop is quite cute and we put it together in the living room in about 2 hours. Good for summer or spring, but cheaply made. It is not worth the price point that it is at, it is more a $100 to $150 on the high end price point.
