The media could not be loaded. This microphone works well. This microphone system has 2 major components: the microphone itself and the portable receiver. The portable receiver is very important. Without this receiver the microphone doesn't work. The microphone uses 2 AA batteries. AA rechargeable or disposable batteries don't matter. The microphone has a power button to ensure that I can mute myself/speaker when I want to be muted. The microphone display screen shows the signal strength. The signal is pretty good for at least 25 feet. I just used this for my sister-in-law simple wedding with about 25 people in attendance. The receiver comes with a rechargeable battery. It can be charged using the USB C cable. The receiver also has the on/off switch. One thing to watch for is I tend to forget to turn off the receiver. The receiver will use up the battery when the switch is on and the microphone is not in use. There is a potential that when you need to use it, the receiver's battery is low/dead. The positive thing is the receiver can be charged at the time as it's being used. During the wedding ceremony, the battery was dead because I forgot to turn off the day before. We had a rehearsal the day before. Thankfully I was able to charge the receiver with a powerbank while it's being used. ... show more

Don't waste your time or your money on this item!! The plug for the Bluetooth broke off in my very expensive speaker on the 1st use and is still stuck there. Now I can't use my speaker for any mics and Amazon won't replace anything but the mics themselves. Wouldn't even help with a repair bill. 2 days before my wedding at that.
