I purchased 2 of these to use as bedside lamps in my bedroom less than 6 months ago. Since they came out of the box, they have been a little finicky to charge our iPhones because the phone had to be placed in a very specific spot. Other wireless chargers usually have a magnet so you can feel when your device is placed correctly but this does not. The phone also had to be unlocked to charge which is not the case with any other wireless charge I have used. It was annoying but it worked. As of a month or 2 ago, when we place the phone on either one of the lamps, the charging icon shows on the phone as if it is charging but the screen stays lit and the battery drains completely. They are no longer usable as chargers. Lamp feature is great and it’s nice that they are portable but the primary reason for picking this item was for the phone charger. I would have purchased different lamps if I knew the chargers would not be usable. ... show more

O'Bright has taken lighting to the next step. Lighting is no longer something that only brightens up your room anymore. This lamp is elegant and provides adequate amount of light next to your bed. The convenience of having the wireless charging capability easily makes this my go-to night lamp next to my bed. In the past, in the middle of the night I have always relied on my phone flashlight to look around if I heard any sound.     • Total waste of effort and money

My husband accuses me of sticking up for inanimate objects when they are crap if i like them for some reason. I ordered this seemingly useful lamp/charger for the combo and removable light attributes. The first one was a lemon right out of the box- wouldn’t charge, no light, no phone, nada- it would not receive power. Sent it back because I liked the idea and wanted it to be awesome—- I thought it was a random bad lamp; odds were I would not get another lemon. I beat the odds. This lamp is “ok” but sometimes it doesn’t work. The charging pad worked 2 times and then stopped altogether, and it worked halfway because it took all night and phone only got 25% charged. So I must agree with my husband instead of defending this piece of junk any further. It’s a crap product. It’s a good idea. Crap product. ***EDITED REVIEW *** The company wrote to me after reading this review and offered me a full refund, which I accepted- so customer service is good. They should figure out what is wrong with the lamp. Edit: this company refunded my money after seeing this review. That was nice.     • Doesn't last!
**update** The company was great about reaching out. They gave me a full refund. I will definitely buy from them again** I liked this for the whole 5 weeks it worked! Unfortunately, that's all it worked! I'm sad because I liked the look and ease of the lamp but obviously not the longevity.
