I have only had this running for 12 hours and the water container is almost half full already! I live in south Florida and my a/c runs a lot. My home is just over 1,000 sq ft. I put this unit in my guest bathroom so I don’t have to worry about it being in the way of anyone. It has two fan speeds, normal and nighttime. Honestly, the regular fan speed is not very loud. It comes with optional night light colors that can be set to one color, rotating colors or you can turn the light off. I love how small this unit is. Please keep in mind for placement, it does need to have room around it to circulate air. The back of the unit is where the heat is expelled from the motor, so it will need to be several inches away from walls or furniture. You don’t want this gem to overheat! This is an excellent product, especially for the price! It comes ready to use right out of the box without any tools, just remember to open the water drawer first to remove instructions and extra parts. There is a handle on the back of the unit that makes it easy to lift up and remove the box and place it wherever you like. It is very light for placing wherever you wish. This unit also comes with an optional tube to attach in the water drawer to have the water drain into a sink or drain if you want to run it constantly and not have to empty the drawer. There is a safety shut off once the water reaches a certain height so it not overflow if you use only the drawer. The water level is easy to see without having to disturb the unit. When powering off the unit, it has a countdown while the motor slowly powers off during a cool down mode. They really thought if everything when they designed this dehumidifier! This small dehumidifier is a game changer for my home. Having a dryer environment inside by reducing the humidity makes the air feel cooler inside my home and 77 on my thermostat is very comfortable now. I highly recommend this unit for size, ease of use, efficiency and cost. 2 week follow up, this is still working beautifully and cuts off when the reservoir container is full. No leaks or problems.

Small dehumidifier that does exactly what it advertises: pulls moisture out of the air -- about 2.5L every 16 hours -- day in and day out. Our washer overflowed and flooded our wood-floored kitchen with about a half inch of water. After mopping up the water, we have run this humidifier for about 2 weeks straight since then. It shuts off automatically when its full, super easy to empty the water, and doesn't leak. Turn it back on and it's back to work. Not too loud either.

I’ve used this dehumidifier for a couple weeks to put it to the test before making this review. First of all,I live in a 1000sq ft apartment built in the 70’s without ventilation fans in either bathroom. My daughter was always complaining of frizzy hair and damp closets, so I figured humidity was a problem. It’s quiet, the perfect size so as not to overwhelm your space, and does a mighty job of removing moisture. The air quality of my home has improved and even my A|C seems to be working more efficiently….in the FL heat, that’s important. I’m very happy with this purchase.

We have had this for a few weeks so now I can comfortably say it works well and I can totally smell and feel the difference in the room. I will buy another for the other side of the house. I love having an option to use the hose. The second one will be hooked up with the hose somewhere in the house by a drain. The one I am using right now is plugged in and I manually remove the water. When its full it has a shut off which is great. There is also a meter measuring the percentage in the room and when we started it, the first few days it was closer to 50% which is definitely NOT good for health reasons. So I am pleased to see the number continue to drop. The humidity on the valley is very high. If we had a place by the bay, I would definitely just stick with the hose. We have this in a 1,900 ft house, it makes a difference in all the common areas. But another one is needed for opposite side of the house because those doors are often closed. I wouldn't anticipate for it to be doing much to those rooms that stay closed. I hope this review helps you decide which way to go. I definitely recommend.

I am really impressed with this dehumidifier and I’ve only had it for two days. It’s working so efficiently I’ve emptied the water tank once and it’s already half full again. Looks great, runs well and the noise level is low. I may even buy another one for my upstairs…very happy with this product.
