It looks great and with the adjustable lights, you can set to a low mode for dining and mid to high range to read the menu. I wanted a small bedside table top lite for reading. This light is good Lightweight but looks sturdy. Not offensive looking plastic like most. I wish it were a tad larger but it’ll do it has 3 settings for brightness and does the trick. I recommend it

I'm going to use this as an outdoor table lamp. I do have bit harsh, brighter lighting if needed. Think its a perfect lamp for an outdoor feast with food and drinks. It has three dim selections and is rechargeable. Reminds me of the lamps I've seen in upscale restaurants in NYC. In sum nice light for a dinner table whether indoors or out. We purchased one of these a few months ago, and never got around to opening it. We finally did, and love it so much, that we just bought two more. The lamp easily recharges, and a charge is supposedly good for 48 hours. (We haven't timed it). They're small and attractive and provide a lot of light for a small lamp. You just have to tap it to turn it on and off, and between on and off, there are three levels of brightness. I've got one by my computer, so it's perfect at night when I don't want to put on the overhead lights or use a bigger lamp. We purchased one for the kitchen table as an emergency light source since it is hurricane season, and sometimes we lose power during inclement weather. You can't go wrong with this purchase. We purchase two in the chrome (silver) color and one black one. We highly recommend them. PS if you lose electrical power you could easily charge them with any independent charger that is capable of charging your phone. ... show more

These lights are very good quality and look really pretty on the table. There are 3 levels of light dim, medium & bright for a great ambiance depending on what you are trying to achieve. Highly recommend! All my friends at our dinner party are ordering these lights for their table at home.

This lamp is perfect for a night light but not bright enough for a desk or reading light if that is what you are looking for. We have a dark hallway to the bedrooms and this is perfect to tap on before you go to bed. I think the price is a little high for the quality
