This lampmis perfect as a reading lamp beside a chair or sofa. It does not take up a lot of room (has a small footprint) but gives off a lot of light. And it is dimmable and can be adjusted to suit your preference. Easy to put together and affordable priced. It is perfect.

I like the brassy gold color and heavy, sturdy base of the floor lamp. It arrived well packaged and easy to assemble. I like the fact that it is adjustable in height from 45” to 55” the bottom of the base to the top of center rod. Second, the arm and the head of the lamp is movable in varying circular degrees as well. The lighting is dimmable by the pressing the one button that serves a dual function also as on/off. This pharmacy-style floor lamp works very nicely as a task lamp as well as lending ambient lighting to a room when dimmed. I'm very happy with it, but mine has a slight flaw in that the glass that covers the bulb area is crooked so that an edge shows below the shade on one side. That unfortunately, makes it look more low-end than it initially seemed. There is no way to fix that since the glass is cut to fit the bottom and was apparently cut a tad too large. It's not terribly noticeable, but I can see it when sitting in the chair on the other side of the room. I'm mentioning that because I think a lot of people would be annoyed seeing it, too. ... show more

This is a very sturdy product with great lighting brightness and adjustable. Very well made. I'd prefer this over the RH brand I was looking at as it's affordable, looks similar in style, and is LED and dimmable. Best purchase I've made in a while.

Bit hesitant to purchase after reading reviews. But found the assembly was easy and everything fit well and the lamp stands straight and has a very sturdy base. The light swivels well from side to side. Light is nice and bright enough for close up work.
