The collar has worked great on cutting down on the unnecessary barking and nipping and also getting her attention when she starts to wander off and not obeying our command to return. My personal experience was dealing with Snow Dogs they were a great seller providing after the sale assistance. Now the product.. i originally bought a single collar setup for my dog that wanders freely on several acres partially wooded and not all visible from back of house. A litter of puppies later ( too bad I didn't have a collar on Baby Daddy from up the street I would have set it to backflip mode) and a roadside rescue I came back and bought the 2 collar set. The beep or tone signal is great so you can locate a dog audibly when they can't be seen or are being stubborn and not returning to the alert. Vibrate works perfectly for getting attention and detering actions. Then shock of course does what it says. The battery power seems fine but the effect of dogs wrestling there teeth can and do turn off collars. The collars are adjustable which is a good thing. My suggestion is to size it to your dog and trim off the excess and melt the ends to prevent fraying. When you don't and if the excess is long enough it now becomes a tug of war collar which can turn into let me free you from "The Man" where the one dog will completely chew the entire collar off the other. Moral of the story is, the collars work good. In my experience the range is around 600 ft we have lots of trees. The new set worked on the old sets remote and vice versa you can have up to 4 collars on one remote. These hold up to my 3 very intense dogs and appear to be water resistant. And after a jail break that rendered one collar completely ruined and the receiver itself partially destroyed. Collars can not be removed from receiver, the collar is actually built into the receiver itself. Snow dogs took care of me thats all you could ask for! ... show more

I have a 65lbs pittbull who LOVESSSS to go after the black bear that occasionally wonders into our neck of the woods, we could never get her to come back, or we would lose sight of her tracking her down, the beeping helped us locate her, and the shock (at a low voltage) brought her ass back home real quick. She hasn't went after the bear since, just the rabbits (naturally). We've had it for a long time now and it still works perfectly and it can go days between charges. ... show more

This is a great collar for our dogs. It works really well for training. I have two dogs that rough play and for the 3rd time a tooth has went through the power button on the collar and the collar stops working. I'm not sure why the power button is there when you can control everything with the remote. ... show more

I love this shock collar. I have now purchased 3 of them and not because of malfunctions. I have 3 because I love it so much I wanted one for our home and one for our camp. The 3rd one I bought because we just moved and I have no idea which box it is in currently and for the price…. Why not just buy another one. The remote is super easy to learn. I love that it has a beeping setting on it and not just the shock button. My dog learned very quickly to respond to the beep and you won’t get zapped! I totally would recommend!!!! ... show more

Smartest thing I bought to keep my pup safe. I've never turned the level up above 1 (it goes all the way up to 99!) yet he responded immediately. I tried the shock on my inner wrist before ever using it on him. It didn't hurt at all. I only used it once and that was enough. Now I just use the beep on occasion and he turns on a dime. I really only use the collar to make sure he stays safe. He wags his tail when I put it on him because it means he gets to go on an adventure! And a great feature is that the shock can be disabled, so I'll never activate the shock button by mistake. Great product. Charges fast and hold a charge for a long time. This product is extremely effective on my poodle. He reacts to the vibration on low setting. This dog doesn't listen very well even after training and practice. But with this device I can instantly curb his desire to beg for food and to run away when we call him. He quiets down instantly when I press the vibration button and say No. I don't believe I'll ever have to use the shock mode. The collar does fit snug on his neck despite lots of curls and works well.
