I wanted to verify for myself, from the Company, the Nuwave Duralon Cookware is indeed dishwasher safe since that was one of the main reasons I chose to purchase this set over many more. I will post the response I received via email from Nuwave Customer Service verifying there is a print mistake in the manual, but the cookware is indeed dishwasher safe, as another verified customer stated. The set is amazingly nice, sturdy, and as positive worthy commenting on all the features described online in the Nuwave ad. I needed new cookware to use on the new induction cooktop. I would buy Nuwave cookware again b/c it really delivers exactly as advertised. Here is the copy, pasted response to my question about dishwasher safe. I deleted personal names.. “ Thank you for contacting us. We so appreciate your business. The Nuwave 12 piece set Duralon Blue Cookware is dishwasher safe. There is a misprint on the manual, I truly apologize for the confusion. Any further questions please let me know. G. A. Customer Support”

First, the pots and pans came wrapped/packaged like fine china. So impressed with the care put into it. The set is beautiful ( I got the green ). Cooks well and food slides right out.. easy to clean. Hand wash. Excellent set in my opinion. I only wish they had added a large frying pan. The set has small and medium sized. But, really, I am completely happy with my purchase !

I love these pots and pans. They are sturdy and beautiful as you can see. They match my decor perfectly. I wish they all had their own lids but they are interchangeable. If I can buy extra, I will. They are worth the money. I highly recommend them.

Very nice set of pots and pans. The reason for 4 stars is, I don't like the length of the handles. Don't fit in my sink & there not arthritis friendly. With that said I think the nonstick surface is the best ive had so far & they are thick & heavy duty, thanks.

The instruction booklet says never to put in the dishwasher (which is partly why I bought them) but apparently some reviewers have contacted the manufacturer and were told the booklet is incorrect. I think I’ll just wash them out - like advertised, it’s a quick swipe and ta-da!

I like the granite , it's easy to clean but whoever designed the handles did a very poor job. they are wide and very uncomfortable to hold . I almost wish I had returned them and decided on a different ceramic set. I do like the pans though just wish they had a different handle on them.

This cookware looks awesome...but...when I got the set the 8qt Pot and Lid were damaged. Ceramic coating wore through to the bare metal and lid dented in 2 areas. See pics. Tried a warranty claim with Nuwave and they got back to me within 3 hrs (wow). Got the details straightened out and they emailed me that I would receive the new pot and lid within 5-7 business days via UPS. And I could return the damaged items in the same box with the return shipping label attached. Plus, I would receive an email with the tracking info as soon as it was available. That was 2 weeks ago (10 business days) and I am still waiting. Emailed them back and no response. Since I haven't used the cookware (intentionally) while waiting for this to be resolved I cannot determine the quality of it. But the set sure looks good. So, I requested a return through Amazon for a replacement set. Amazon ROCKS with this kind of thing. BTW...though Nuwave did not follow through with replacing the damaged items they did do one thing...send me marketing emails each and every day since (which they continue to do). Jeez!

When my old Teflon pans started to get worn out and I knew I needed to get new pans, I also knew I didn’t want Teflon anymore. With all the new research about the materials used in those pans, I knew I wanted to steer clear. But I also didn’t want to sacrifice nonstick capabilities. And I needed something dishwasher safe. Because I just don’t have the kind of patience needed to handwash them every day. I did a lot of research before buying and found these to check all my boxes. Not only are they nonstick, but free of all the nasty chemicals. And they are dishwasher safe! Yay! When I received them I was happy with how heavy duty (but not too heavy like All Clad pans are for me). I love the balance. They are thick and well made, but not overly heavy. I love them and I think they’re going to last a long time!
