I bought a set of EcoTools blenders at a discount store a couple years back and used them until they were broken and well... unusable. They were the best texture I had ever found in a blender and spread my makeup so evenly and cake-free. I tend to wear a fuller coverage foundation that could cake with improper application, but these blenders take blending to a whole other level. I was looking to replace the exact set I had, but decided to try out these. They are made the same way as my last set and I have been so pleased. Upon unpackaging, they will feel a bit firmer, but after their first wash, they do soften up a bit into the perfect texture and density for makeup application. I am no makeup artist, but I do get compliments on my skin all the time. I don't have the greatest skin, so it really goes to show how well these blenders make the makeup look like my own skin. Fake it til you make it! They are pretty durable. I have been using one of these blenders for three or so months now and I wash it once a week. It has a small pick on the side now, but is still holding up great! I also am obsessed with the fact that it comes in compostable packaging. I am always looking for products that are more sustainable and eco friendly and was excited to hear about these. But not only are they biodegradable they are an absolute fantastic beauty blender! The rounded bottom has just enough bounce for general all-over blending and makeup application, and the flat sides and straight edge are fantastic for things like the under-eye area, around brows, and around your nose. It's such a great blend of surfaces and it works well with several products. So far I've used it with two different types of foundation, a CC cream, a tinted moisturizer, color corrector, and two different types of concealer. It's performed spectacularly with every formula.
