Literally does everything! totally worth the money!
This thing is a beast! It has everything you could ever want in a small countertop footprint. It’s got an interior light that is actually bright enough to see inside, It is big enough to fit an entire chicken, It can grill a steak, It makes toast, It Even dehydrates jerky and proofs dough!! It comes with an automatic thermometer that plugs right into the front and will alert you once your meat has heated to the set temperature. It is sleek and looks good on the countertop while being a high performing multi-use kitchen appliance that can easily replace several appliances. I use this thing everyday a few times a day. Since I got this, I got rid of my air fryer and toaster oven and just use this. The only issue I have is that the air fryer setting takes a little more time to air fry things. It still does everything really well! This is worth the price!

I really like this oven!!!
First, I love that this does not heat my kitchen like my oven does. The preheat time is fast, and cooking time is also fast. I haven't tried any of the programs. I started with a few of the included recipes, which I followed to the letter, then I started experimenting with those recipes to see how they work with other foods. The grilled asparagus recipe is an excellent one to start with. My asparagus came out wonderfully, but I found it is good to keep an eye on doneness until I understand how this oven works. After the asparagus, I tried salmon with the same method and it was perfect. As were the hamburgers and then meatloaf I tried next. I think one good point to this oven is that there is no one correct way to make anything. I really like the grill - it cooks quickly and efficiently. I suggest learning how to adjust the temp of the upper and lower elements - that is important if a food seems to be cooking too fast on top or on bottom. I have since baked cookies - they cooked in about 7 minutes per batch. French toast is amazing as was bread pudding. Get the hang of a few of the included recipes and then go from there. I even made really good 5 minute a day artisan bread. I have a small vintage Descoware Dutch oven that fits into the Nuwave oven. I baked a small loaf in the Nuwave exactly as I would in my regular oven and the bread was excellent. And I didn't overheat my house. The oven isn't complicated. I know there are an overwhelming number of ways to set it, and too many programs, and it all seems intimidating, but really, take the time to go over the instructions and understand what does what. I doubt I will ever use any of the programs - it is too easy to set it to bake, or roast, or airfry and then set time and temp, and maybe the top or bottom elements. I just check for doneness occasionally and it is so easy. That it will hold at very low temps is a real bonus to me. I like to make tempeh and finding anything that will hold a temp below 100 is amazing. Also, it is not huge - I have a smaller home and this fits on my counter without overwhelming anything. But I still have a lot of room inside to do about anything I want to. It does get hot, but I don't touch the top or sides when I use it and it doesn't radiate a lot of heat into the space around it. On the con side, I don't think this is the best airfryer that I have ever had - my old Paula Dean airfryer beats this hands down. It's okay, but I think its power is in replacing my huge oven for all those baking, roasting and toasting tasks. I also am not impressed with the rack that comes with it. I read reviews that said that rack is not really sturdy and I have to agree. With light foods it's fine, but I had a casserole on that rack and the weight made the rack sag and it fell out of its slots on the side of the oven. The company I bought this oven from responded immediately to my request for a new rack (excellent customer service!!) but it did the same thing, so I have to say it is a design error. But this is not a deal breaker. This oven is too good, so I will always use the air fryer basket/rack for heavy things and the regular racks for light things. That's just not a big deal. I am somewhat a gourmet cook, and I am so pleased with what I can do with this oven. Just be patient with it. I now use it pretty much every day and I would recommend it.

Attractive
Just made my first "toasted eggplant pieces". The original air fryer made them better. They did not crisp up in this unit but then, my first try. I had to return 3 damaged MorningStar ovens that were either smashed or not working or had shelves falling down so was more than pleased that this one arrived and is working. No, it does not get as hot as the other ones do although, sure it gets hot but to me, nothing to worry about. I wish the instruction book was clearer cause, for me, confusing. I tried the roast setting and immediately after the 5 minute countdown it turned off and did not allow me to push start to keep it going but then, for me, not a problem cause I'll just cook what I want without using the pre-set functions. Just use it using the basic settings. It would also be nice if there was a larger recipe book but realize it's something we all have to figure out how we want things ourselves anyway. Having only just used it for one thing just now for first time, I'm pleased with it - after the difficulty I had with the other one I tried. It works, it cooks and for me, a 78 year old, so far so good and I didn't do a 5 star because of it being a bit confusing to use. If I have any problems or want to upgrade my info, I'll come back in future and add but I say, go ahead and purchase it. It's basically a glorified toaster oven to me but with all the additional functions, it probably is a lot more than that

I like the bake/toast/broil. The controls are TERRIBLE!!
The unit is flimsy but performs well AFTER you get it programmed for your selected need to cook. The style of entry of information is almost INCOMPREHENSIBLE! You have to hit multiple buttons repeatedly in sequence to get your result. I actually repair microwave ovens and this is 25 year old programming style in a 2021 machine. The thing is CONSTANTLY shutting off heat because it reached a heat you entered... but it has lowered you selected temperature and paused... for no reason other than safety. It appears that the makers wanted to idiot proof it in case someone selects a temp and walks away and forgets it. Instead you have a heater that CONSTANTLY requires programming steps and CONSTANTLY waiting for another beep to find it shut itself off when it reached the temp you asked for. You could EASILY have the same command system of a common inexpensive midern range.... select bake, broil or whatever and walk away. If you need a reminder set a house timer. This command after command sequential foolishness ruins its practicality. It needs a COMPLETELY NEW FORMAT FOR THE SELECTION OF DESIRED COOKING. It is too bad... I like the rest of it...

Cuts cooking times down and super easy to use!
We love this oven! It heats up quickly and cuts cooking times down. We've grilled burgers, baked stuffed shells, and are really impressed. My older stove takes forever and to much gas to heat up, never mind cooking. This was an awesome solution for a really good price. I really like that you can fit a pizza stone in it, and the probe works perfectly. I cooked a three-pound meatloaf in half the time it took with the old one. It's super easy to clean, and quiet while cooking.

So versatile!!
I don't do many reviews. I read them and find them so useful. BUT I have to write about this Nuwave oven! I LOVE this thing! I hope it lasts. I am thinking of getting a 2nd one and using my gas oven for storage. haha. The Nuwave oven-- I have baked 2 loaves of zucchini bread at the same time, made the easiest grilled cheese sandwiches and cooked frozen pizzas so easily. Not to mention how easy it toasts bread consistently brown on both sides, The airfryer feature seems ok. I haven't used it enough to comment. Mine came with a griddle/grill cooking sheet which is great! Everything about this oven is awesome. It was challenging figuring out how to turn it on and make adjustments. Once you do, it is so easy. So far, the only thing I have noticed is the on/off label is wiping off. I got it during Amazon days so I saved $40. What a steal!
