Super great, affordable option for people looking for safer cookware (realized recently the one pan I use almost daily is toxic so I was in desperate need of something safer). They're cute, really nicely made, but when I say do not even think about using metal utensils in these I mean it. It doesn't bother me all that much but after cooking one time and GENTLY using a metal fork in the skillet it's scratched in several spots. Also, they CAN be easy to clean - but it really depends. I use the sprayer on the sink as soon as I'm finished using a dish to hose it off and keep things from getting stuck to it, but some things do still stick on unfortunately. I bought this set because the hard anodized set I had was too heavy for my arthritic hands. Reviews convinced me to try it. I am pleased to say that this set is perfection -- weight that is easy to manipulate, even heat, lids that have a hole to allow steam to escape which prevents lids boiling over, and cleaning is a breeze -- nothing sticks. I have not yet put the pans in the dishwasher because washing by hand is so effortless. I find that I can turn the heat down because the pans conduct heat so well and evenly, My test is frying latkes. If they brown evenly, the pan is conducting heat evenly. This set won, hands down. The cookware set is very well made. They are just the right amount of weight. Not too heavy and not too light. The nonstick surface is very smooth and the lids are classy looking. I am impressed with the overall appearance. I also like that the handles of the pans and lids can be tightened with a Phillips screwdriver if they should ever get loose. I got this set as a housewarming gift for my buddy that recently got a new place. We opened it up right away, hand washed them and started using them. (He already knew I was getting him a set) For the price range, these pots and pans were a lot more solid than I expected. The non-stick worked well and cooked the foods pretty evenly. Yes, they are non-stick pots and pans, so I reminded him to not use it on high heat and don't let it sit heated with nothing in it. But, these pots and pans don't have all those chemicals that get you sick, so I guess just gotta worry about it when it scratches or chips. I really love the color and feel of these pots/pans. I was really excited to get the bonus utensils as well. The pots/pans are smaller than expected but I that’s okay. These would be perfect for beginner cooks or people who live in smaller homes and/or make food for 1-2 people.
