This fisherman's tool set from Kastking is quite lovely. All the included tools feel pleasant in the hand and appear to be well-made from quality materials. The handles on the pliers and fillet knife are exceptionally comfortable, offering a secure grip even with wet hands. The fillet knife is remarkably sharp and possesses excellent flexibility. The sheath even incorporates a built-in sharpener, a thoughtful and convenient design feature for use on the water. The fishing pliers are very durable. The metal is robust and features a pleasing coating. The tip includes integrated ring pliers. These pliers also incorporate a line cutter and crimper. As these pliers do not include a sheath, they are best suited for transport within a toolbox or tackle bag with a dedicated pliers pouch. In my opinion, the scale is the most useful tool in this kit. It's considerably smaller than the Rapala scale I've used for several years. The illuminated screen displays numbers clearly, showing weight in pounds, kilograms, and ounces. My only wish is that it could display weight in pounds and ounces simultaneously (e.g., 1 lb 8 oz), rather than just as 1.5 lbs or 24 oz. Another great feature is its rechargeable design via USB-C, eliminating the need for frequent battery changes. Overall, this is an excellent fishing tool set suitable for anglers of all skill levels, offering exceptional functionality at a great price. It would also make an excellent gift for an angler.

I like the digital scale plus its rechargeable through USB. The fillet knife is very nice and also has a knife sharpener on end. They have thought of everything in this collection. The scales has a built-in tape measure to measure the fish while weighting it. I have 2 other sets of Pliers, but these have a very long narrow nose that can get down to the hook. They also provided a hook removable tool which I cannot wait to try. Of course, the towel with the belt clip can stay in the boat and be there for you when you need it. This is one of the best kits I have seen. I know you're love it. And the price was right.

I like the set well enough, the pliers are sturdy and good, the fillet knife could hold an edge a little better, but it works well enough. Scale is good and accurate. My issue came with the lip grippers, I liked them a lot for getting quick weights and for removing hooks, however, I caught a 5lb Largemouth last night, she shook and snapped the gripper right off! Luckily I was up on the ground and got the weight, or I would have lost her in the water with a big hunk of plastic in her throat. The scale goes up to 70lbs(I believe) you'd think the grippers used for weighing with it could handle a 5lb bass. I'm going to contact them about a replacement, that could up my rating on the product. Update: I got in touch with kastking, their response was prompt. They didn't have the gripper available to directly replace it, but offered a refund to be able to find an equivalent. 4 stars...the gripper shouldn't have broken on a 5lb fish, but the rest of the tools are fantastic and the company stands behind their products. I also have a baitcaster reel from them and I'm very happy with it. All in all, I solid company I'll buy from again.

This seven piece fishing set is of excellent quality and well worth the price. The knife, with locking sheath and built in sharpener, is perfect to filet up some fish for a camp fire or, in my case, to cut up bait for catfishing. The digital scale has a locking mechanism and built in tape measure, which is very handy. The handled hook remover is great for hard to reach gut hooks and the towel can hook right to the side of your tackle bag for easy reach. The pliers are well made to either pop a stubborn hook out or clip your line after a retie. Another excellent product by KastKing. Highly recommended.
