40HP Long shaft 20in 2 stroke motor at a great price. Shipping was fast, and the motor was packaged well. Motor arrived in good condition. Communication was excellent. I can’t wait to get the motor out on the water. Looks like it’s compatible with Yamaha Enduro E40X parts. My lower unit needed to be Lubed it was only half full. Also it needed to be greased especially the grease zerk that lubes the steering it took almost a full mini grease tube. It was much smoother after greasing. I think they ship these motors pretty dry. So lubricant before first use. Update 8/6/2026 This motor has been working great on my Tracker 1648 John boat. It gets the boat right up on plane with 4 people in the boat. The video angle is not great but as you can see this motor has some good power. The Electric start, tilt and Trim have been working great. FYI there is a 1 amp standard tube fuse for the starter switch. Some how in shipping the fuse got Loose. I secured the fuse in the inline fuse holder and it’s been starting every time. The fuse is located under the cowling on the passenger side at the bottom. I am very pleased with this motor so far. ... show more
