Great trolling motor for saltwater, been using for about 6 moths with no issues, called minn kota with a few questions on how to use and they have fantastic customer service, so nice to be able to speak with a knowledgeable person that speaks good english. Motor was mounted on a 20 foot boat and has no problem holding it in place in the ocean. This is a game changer to be able to spot lock on a reef and not have to drop an anchor. Quality is excellent and fairly quiet, just rinse off after use and remove from boat with quick release bracket for indoor storage. ... show more

This trolling motor was not put together from the factory correctly. It had bracket mounting for a 55 pound motor and the motor was a 80 pound. Thanks to the people who I took it to for the mounting on the boat found the problem. They were a Minn Kota dealer and repair dealer so they knew what was wrong. Think before you buy from Amazon for this product. I don’t know who was at fault but when you can buy local. They will look out for you. ... show more

I absolutely love this trolling motor! Easy to install. Well built. Easy to pair everything (remote, phone app, etc) together. The best feature and why I swapped this out for my Minn Kota Maxxium is the anchor lock feature. Has changed the way I fish! Recommended.
