It really seems to keep the rust at rest. One quart goes a ways. For badly rusted auto frames,I suggest doing some prep removing the heavy stuff,then coat twice. It levels out nice and covers in the rust pitting. It is a good product and more affordable than others.

Pro: Product covered well, and you could tell from the smell that it was doing things differently than regular spray paint. Coating is a little bit rubbery, so it is what it says it is. Happy that it will prevent corrosion on my undercarriage. I lived in Colorado my whole life, then moved to Florida for school. it's been rough on my trucks frame,the combination of old road salts and the FL humidity. Am planning to undercoat my entire truck with it now, since this actually stops rust from continuing. Con: the can does not handle spraying upside down well, and it blows through propellant if held at any angle other than more or less vertically. The can still felt 70% full when it stopped spraying, so most of it went to waste on the one can I bought. Since I'll be putting it up on a lift later, I'll just finish spraying it then, where I can keep the can upright, but doing it in the driveway it ended up being wasteful. ... show more

I used this can of paint immediately after I received it. The can sprayed about 1/2 of the contents then stopped. I turned it upside down as you are supposed to do to clear the nozzle. Did not work.
