These people back up what they sell. I mean fast...they respond to any question or issue you may have, fast. I highly recommend doing business with them. I had a little glitch with the trolling motor which may have been brought on by myself I don't know all I know is they didn't ask any questions except what it was doing and then they sent exactly what I needed and my trolling motor is working perfect.

Poor unreliable motor with worse customer service. So I bought one of these 11 months ago. I barely used it then went on vacation to a very remote area. It quickly stopped working and beeping in 4 sets of 3. It would run for about a second and turn then start the beeping I mentioned. I went through all the troubleshooting tips which didn’t fix it. I also submitted an email and a video to haswing customer service. In that time I ordered another one to get delivered because I’m on a vacation for a month that I had been working up for and needed the motor to work. I thought the first one was a fluke and could get it fixed when I got back to the city and could use one for my other boat anyway. I got this new one in the mail and used it for a few days and this one started malfunctioning doing the exact same thing. Customer service was very bad and there was nothing in the instruction manual explaining what the series of beeps meant. I’m done with them and will be returning my latest one and chucking the old one.

I haven't had the opportunity to try this motor out on the water yet due to my waterways being iced over. Initial impressions are good tho. The motor seems well built. I hooked it up to a battery and everything worked flawlessly. The speed ramps up smoothly. Turning is smooth and quick. No vibrations at full speed even out of the water. There is an audible beep with every button press. I don't find it overly loud or annoying. Others have mentioned trying to silence the beep. I would avoid doing this especially in a kayak. The motor turns quickly and at full speed I like to hear the beeps when I push the turning buttons so as not to go hard over! They claim the weight of this motor is 26lbs, it feels heavier than that to me although I haven't weighed it. If the 26lbs is correct then this motor is right in line with most of the other big name electric kayak motors. Initial impressions are good. I have high hopes for it. The only thing I would like to see installed is some sort of kill switch or Deadman switch so in case you fall out of your kayak while underway your boat isn't motoring away from you. Docking 1 star for no kill switch!

Spectacular product. The motor is extremely strong on a on my kayak. I go about 5 miles an hour. It’s been a amazing product and so useful to my adventures. The customer support for this company is amazing well by again in the future for upgrade.

Worked for about 2 hours and then just magically stopped. I had to paddle a hour and a half back to the ramp. Plenty of battery, just won’t turn on. Not very powerful while it worked. Very expensive boat weight. Will be returning. Update: I received a replacement motor today and will be testing it out in hopes it doesn’t fail on the first trip. So far so good so I have moved my rating to 3 stars
