This is a great rug for the price. The color is a tad bit darker than the image. It's a warm beige with light brown and grey accents. It looks neutral in a room while still creating some interest without distracting from decor. It can easily be vacuumed. My dogs are already laying and running on it. It's pet friendly. It appears like it will wear well. It does have a chemical smell which is dissipating and I expect to be completely gone soon. As others have shared it does not lay completely flat. But I'm positive it will lay perfectly flat soon and it's already almost there. I'm using books to help on the ends. It won't need floor tape to lay flat. Received my rug today and I am very happy with the colors. I ordered the beige and it has hints of blue and brown which is exactly what I was looking for. I am layering it on top of my wall to wall carpet so I like that it’s not too thick. It was rolled tightly so there are a lot of waves in it now and it’s not laying flat. I have some books on top now to help and am hoping that it will flatten out with time. It was a good price, overall happy with this purchase! So I am back 2 days later after I have had books sitting on the wavy areas of the rug for a couple of days and I can say that it is working. The rug is laying flat now. Rug was a disappointment; the color is way off the photo in the description. I expected a beige/cream rug, with light brown accents. What I received was a dark brown, dark gray rug with some beige accents, and beige border. At first, I thought I received the brown rug, but after looking at all the photos in the description, I realized I did receive the BEIGE rug due to the beige border. My disappointment aside, I am keeping the rug as it's too much of a hassle to return. It does go with the furniture; I just didn't want a dark brown rug. I have purchased nuLOOM rugs before, with no issues with color being off, so I have confidence the rug will hold up to foot traffic and remain good looking. Revised review: The rug was darker than expected, but all I had to do was change the accent pillows on the couch...what a difference!! Now the rug is perfect for the room! I got the 7x9 oval. It doesn't seem to be available at the time I'm writing this review, almost a year-and-a-half later, but it's been such a good rug that I came looking for other rugs by the same maker. I recently bought a rectangular rug from a different manufacturer. It's been disintegrating from day 1. It made me realize how fantastic this rug is. It has never shedded, never kicked out any puffballs, and looks as fantastic as the day I bought it. I put my dining table on it, so it doesn't get a lot of traffic, but after the horrible new rug I've bought, I've come to realize that traffic doesn't matter. Crazy, but true. Yet this rug from nuLoom has no such problems. When I finally get tired of the junk rectangle rug I just bought for the living room, I'm definitely coming back to nuLoom. I really am more than satisfied with the design of these rugs ( I purchased 2 rugs and a runner). BUT they are rolled “BOTTOM SIDE OUT”, so the ends are formed to curve up. Therefore, not really safe. I am going to keep them and re-roll them for a few weeks and see if I can reverse the curling up on the ends! 🤨 these rugs wer a great savings and love the design and subtle beige/gray/ cream tones. I’ll add a follow-up in a few weeks. If I can fix the problem then I’ll will be 100% satisfied with my purchase.. to be continued! 👍🏼 Update: these rugs are still turned up on the edges after trying everything to train them to lay down. I was really excited because it seemed like I got a great deal but honestly, because I recently took a bad fall and broke my shoulder, I’m not comfortable with these rugs so I’m going to use them until I find more suitable rugs. I need a thicker/ weightier rug. I need to replace with higher quality (more expensive) rugs unfortunately.. ... show more

I got a 10x14 to fill a pretty big space and it’s perfect. The cream and taupe colors in the beige version are highlighted by a soft slate blue and very light gray. It literally goes with everything. The browns in the photo look darker than they appear in real life. The rug came folded in a square and I laid it out with some heavy boxes overnight to get wrinkles out and flat. Also used some rug grippers for the corners so it didn’t slide in hardwood. It’s pretty thin, and I would recommend a rug pad underneath if that’s important to you. I bought 3 rugs, they all look like they are cut uneven. They aren’t perfect rectangles. One end is shorter than the other end on the same side so they aren’t a perfect rectangle. I am not allowed to tell you how the rugs are shipped but I will say the way they are shipped and packaged make it impossible for the rug to lay flat. This company used to sell the rugs and they came on a roll, I know because I bought them, now 5 years later they ship out in a smaller format and the quality is much thinner than my first purchase. I bought 3 rugs, 2 - 9’ x 12’ and 1 - 8’ x 10’ and they all look uneven and have bad creases. I am at 4 full days of wood on them and no difference. I tried product support and it doesn’t work and I’m trying during correct hours posted, the “call me” button doesn’t work. This was a bad purchase with no support from seller. This is 4 full days with no change in the rug and no way to contact the seller. I’m so disappointed. ... show more
