I normally do not write reviews but this time is an exception. We received the ice maker in a timely manner however, when we went to make ice after reading and following all the directions, it did not work. I then called customer service and after a short hold - was able to speak to a live person and they noted everything in an accurate manner. I then had to send a video for warranty purposes. Within a day, I received an email that a new one was being shipped. It even arrived before the holidays!! The new ice maker works great and I absolutely love the ice nuggets. I have a tiny studio vacation home by the water. During the hot summer months, I have guests over and always need ice more than my little efficiency refrigerator can produce. And this ice maker does the job perfectly . It’s very easy to operate, it runs quietly and it produces perfect little ice cubes quickly. The size is just right for my small kitchen counter top , and looks smart and nice. It definitely worths its money !

The ice maker worked perfectly for the first month, producing ice consistently and quietly. However, shortly after the Amazon return window closed, it developed a serious water leak that proved impossible to fix. Despite my attempts to troubleshoot the issue, water continued to leak from the unit, creating potential safety hazards and making the appliance essentially unusable. While the initial performance was satisfactory, the timing of the malfunction and the inability to return the product was particularly frustrating. I would caution potential buyers to thoroughly test the unit within the return window and perhaps consider extended warranty options if purchasing this model. Pros: - Good ice production initially - Quiet operation in first month Cons: - Developed significant water leak after one month - Issue began after return window expired - Unable to resolve the leaking problem

I've always wanted to buy an ice maker for home parties! I'm thrilled that I finally made my purchase! This ice maker is heavy and sturdy, and easy to use. It's quietly during the ice-making process, I think it's due to its excellent compressor. Basically, all I need to do is pouring in filtered water, and it handles the rest. The only thing that didn't meet my expectations was that I thought I can get a full bucket of ice within 15 minutes, but it actually is the time that I start to get the first ice. However, this hasn't been a big issue for me, as it's much faster than the hours my traditional fridge takes to make ice. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

I've been looking at these countertop ice makers for some time. All the less expensive (under $100) brands I've found make the harder bullet-shaped ice cubes. After reading so many reviews, I decided to try this one. It makes PERFECT little soft pellets-exactly what I was looking for. The ice is like what you get at Sonic, etc. The unit runs very quietly. If the water is not chilled when you pour it in, you may have to wait about 10 min for ice to start dropping. While it doesn't make a ton of ice in a hurry, if you'll bag it and store in the freezer you should be able to plan to have plenty for your needs. A number of commenters said it made a lot of noise when first turned on, but I'm wondering if they failed to let it set on the counter as directed long enough to allow all the inside coolants to settle properly after shipping. This seems to be an important factor. I've had mine about a month and I'm very very happy with it so far.
