Early review after setting up 3 days ago. It’s the perfect size in height for our cabinets We plugged it in, filled with filtered water & it started making ice after 5 minutes. Not noisy at all. We threw the first batch away just to be sure and the next batch and the ones after formed & tasted great. Kept the bin and top open to dry well after use to avoid issues. Ice is easily chewable if your into that and it preformed with a full bin of ice in about an hour. Seems reliable and will sign up for the warranty just in case are. Recommend!

It works fine for me. It gets the job done. It does have a slim profile which is great. Good design. Sturdy. What I wish was different: the ice bin does not hold a lot of ice. If you have several people using ice often, this will not work for you. I would say it is slightly louder than the GE Opal.

So far so good! Makes ice. Not too noisy. Will update if it dies before the year is up.

Works decently, but makes a pretty loud knocking sound several times when it starts up each time to make ice. I can't figure out what that would be but it seems odd and it didn't present itself until maybe day 3 or 4.

Made very few cubes in an hours time. Ice is very small in diameter. Very poor!

Spencer 40 lb ice maker is the big scam, piece of crap ice maker I’ve ever had(I have at least 5 different ones in 7 years). Bought it 6/19/2026 and it has popped, bang, rod froze and stops till I turn it off wait 30 minutes and try again. This situation started aug 23 and now September the 5th its a piece of junk! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! WARRANTY ALSO IS A JOKE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
