I have had this machine for 3 weeks now. Have used it twice. I had a small vegetable garden for years and never had a tiller before. The machine had no problem breaking up all dirt, I even expanded the size of my garden by breaking some new ground. It took a little while to assemble it and I even called the customer support line for help once, Jeff in customer support answered right away and help me with all questions I had. The power of this machine is sufficient, started at 3 pulls at my first use. Easy to use. Really like the reverse speed, in my opinion, it is a nice feature. All in all it's a good value and I recommend it if you have a small or medium size garden.

Very capable mid sized tiller compared to pricer brands. I have the Novus NV17FTG. Automatic throttle makes powering through the soil a breeze. I haven't tried it on hard pack clay soil yet. A few cons: 1) Shoddily designed gas cap & oil filler cap are prone to cross threading. 2) Engine operators manual didn't match the actual machine. e.g. there's no fuel shutoff valve or separate throttle control lever. 3) A few hex bolts & lock nuts were missing from the parts pkg. Luckily I had some of my own.

This machine is like holding on to a bulls tail. My goodness, this thing has power and more! I’m in Kentucky where the ground is hard, stone plates in some spots. This tiller crushes the playing field and pulls lip some mighty big rocks. I’m throughly impressed with this beast. After a while, I had to give it up for the day, I could not hold on any longer. It has power, a lot of it!!
