I would have given this hub five stars; however, to use it, I had to remove my laptop’s bottom protective cover because it prevented the hub from being fully inserted. If you have no issues with attaching the hub to your laptop/computer, this is a great device.

Other than NOT being able to plug in power to MAC while the device is inserted into the MAC, it works fine. Simply charge MAC prior to use. After attempting to use the adapter to set up our projector; the CD player was unable to power connect. Not very happy with this USB C Hub adapter. Purchased without using for a month and a half. Now I can NOT return it. Don't waste your hard-earned money on this product. RESEARCH!

**UPDATE 5 MONTHS OF DAILY USE** - I attach my own usb for the mouse and it disconnects - and my HDMI also disconnects so I have to wiggle it to get it to connect again. Guess all good things come to an end. Good overall - works great, I highly recommend actually - but....when I plug in certain usb cables - such as my round pad charger - it disrupts the connection to HDMI - it's super weird - but other cables such as the one for my external hard drive - there is no problem. Pros: -Cost -Look -color -Amazon tech help -super light weight Cons: none really -Maybe from Daily use it wears out the connection??
