I have had this computer for about a month now and it works pretty well. It is fast, in most cases, and does what I want it to do. The only issues I have had have to do with the output for a monitor and the wi-fi card. The ad on Amazon mentioned that it would come with a VGA output, even showing a picture of it. It does not have a VGA output. Instead, for a monitor, it came with two display outputs and one HDMI output. I needed to purchase a VGA to HDMI adapter in order to hook up my monitor. Not a huge expense but several days delay as I waited for the adapter. The wi-fi card is a little unusual in that it is listed as "ejectable" in the task bar where you can safely eject flash drives, etc. Also the computer will disconnect itself from the internet occasionally while I'm working. This doesn't happen often and I can get back online by restarting the computer or hitting the wi-fi disconnect button and re-connecting in the settings app. There is a chance this issue is caused by my internet provider but I am not sure. ... show more

Very frustrating there’s an admin PASSWORD built into this thing so we can’t change anything programmed wrong. The whole thing was a waste of time. ALSO THEY DID NOT PROVIDE A BITLOCKER CODE TO RESET THEM. i DO NOT RECOMMED THESE AT ALL THEY ARE JUNK!!

I have had this little computer for over one month and so far I'm very happy with it. I replaced my old tower which had Windows 98 loaded when I purchased it (many years a go) and it has been up graded several time to get to Windows 10. It took forever to boot up ( sometimes up to15 minutes ) and wasn't compatible with Windows 11 along with other isues so when it finally gave up the ghost (no blue screen) last month so I broke down and bought this one. It has everything the tower had and in some cases better and the old computer cost me close to $800.00 when I bought it new. I was able to set it up in short time and only had a couple of hitches which I was able to work around for the most part. I had a few programs loaded on the old one which I no longer had the disks and I couldn't download the program for my printer because if I did it would block me from using non-brand ink. I was able to access the printer by using WIFI instead of a cable Hook up but I still haven't figured out how to use the scanner portion. All in all this is a great little computer, you will not be able to play advanced games on it but for the price it's worth it. ... show more

I usually do not write reviews since they can be opinionated. However, as an engineer with 40 years of experience in the field, I can provide FACTS on what transpired with my purchase. I have 22 workstations that needed to be replaced in support of the new security hardware requirements required with Windows 11 and above. So, I thought I would give these guys a try, purchase 1 unit, and see what they had to offer. I carefully read all the descriptions provided by the Seller along with all the hardware loadout details to confirm it would be an appropriate replacement for my current workstations at a reasonable price. I also read all the Reviews to see if I would have any future problems. Well, I received the unit and right out of the box I knew I was going to have issues. To start with, there was no keyboard, deep scratches on the front panel, and a large dent on the top cover (not Excellent condition as described). It was sold as a "Refurbished-Excellent" so it did not meet Amazon's refurb program requirements. I also noticed that there was no Win11 key code/sticker on the case so I thought a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) and Key Code would be emailed to me - which I never received. I confirmed with Microsoft that they MUST provide a keycode/COA either on the case or via email even though it is a digital license and a refurb unit. They are a MAR (Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher) and it is a requirement as outlined on their web site. You will need it if you replace your hard drive/OS or to stop the O/S Activation screen from popping up. I then checked the connectivity ports to make sure everything that was spec'd in their description was in place. Well, there was no HDMI video port as described, only a VGA port and (2) DPs. How insane is that .... luckily I had an old VGA monitor available and a USB keyboard to get the thing fired up. Once it fired up, I noticed that there was no DVD drive as listed in the Description for "optical drive". The Description also listed WiFi and Bluetooth. That was accomplished with a dual function USB adapter provided by the Seller. I can live with that even though it is not integrated on the motherboard. Since some of the functionality and hardware was not loaded as described, I checked all the other items after it was fired up. Windows 11 Pro was installed as described. 32GB of RAM installed as described. 1TB SSD installed as described. USB ports available as described. However, only a 3.0Ghz CPU was installed when it was spec'd for 3.2Ghz. Their explanation was that it can go up to 4Ghz in turbo mode .... they should have installed a 3.2Ghz processor instead of the BS statement of "turbo mode". So, I can also live with that even though they are wrong. The computer is running well and seems to be stable. Since there is no DVD drive to install my software, I will need to find an external drive to move ahead. Based on my findings, I contacted the Seller and asked that they provide the missing components. I provided all the Amazon ASIN numbers of the required parts to make it easy for them. The total for all the missing parts was $96.65. I told them that I would do the legwork for them and purchase the missing parts if they provided a credit for the purchase. Then the run-around started. Not only did they not want to help, they only communicated when I contacted them and their response was always a single sentence that made no sense .... their responses never addressed the 8 problems that I detailed in several emails to them and Amazon. To this day, I still have not received any missing items from the Seller. However, Amazon stepped up to help when they started to read and respond to the emails going back and forth between me and the Seller. They decided to provide the credit so I could purchase the missing parts (keyboard, DVD writer, required DVD cables, native HDMI port, etc.). Microsoft also provided a solution for the proper activation of my Win11 license - no more Activation popups!! Amazon agreed with me 100% based on the pics provided and the screenshots of the product description/loadout. They also agreed that any additional time to ship the unit back-and-forth to the Seller would be too big of an impact on my business and I was also not guaranteed that a replacement unit would meet the advertised functionality. Both Amazon and Microsoft will be contacting the Seller since they are not meeting the Terms and Conditions of their MAR and Seller contracts. By the way, below is a description of the resale requirements as a Microsoft MAR (the Amazon product title states "Renewed" but the description states "Refurbished-Excellent" - which is in conflict: "The primary difference between refurbished and used computers is that refurbished computers have NOT been used. They include computers where the box may have been opened, there may be some cosmetic damage, or they might be overstock. A used computer has been used by another consumer. They no longer want or need it so they sell it directly to a buyer or to a third-party seller. A renewed computer is different from a refurbished computer. While a refurbished computer is one that has been opened and returned, has cosmetic blemishes, or is overstock, a renewed computer is a used computer that has been restored so that it is “like new.” It has been tested and anything that needed to be repaired or replaced has been done. They come in a generic box, and they have all of the cables and parts that a new computer would have." So, in summary: Customer Support was terrible and ineffective to resolve any issues. The Seller description was not accurate to what was delivered. Missing parts included: HDMI video, DVD Writer, keyboard (mouse was never listed), and Microsoft COA. However, the HP computer is a good price, came with an SSD with Win11 Pro installed, and seems to be stable. If the Seller can get his act together, make his Descriptions accurate, and provide better customer support and communication, then it would be a good deal. I may consider future purchases if I see more positive reviews which would reflect the Seller's change in operation. ... show more
