The color seems dark when you pull hose out of the package, but once I put the hose on the color lightened just right. I’m 5’3 and 155lbs, red-headed with pale, freckled complexion. These were the perfect length and a good color. Top is a bit snug, but I’ve got a roundish belly, so I’m used to it. Material is sheer, smooth, and comfortable. I used to wear this brand and style all the time and was happy to find they are still being made. BUT, the quality has dropped so much that these hose are basically unwearable. The striated snags started the moment I carefully put them on. All I did was sit in a chair for about 8 hours, and at the end of that time, I was so embarrassed at the condition of the hose. The striated shredding had continued all day, and by the time I took them off, the hose looked like a cat had been at them all day. I was so embarrassed to get up and walk past a group of other professionals with this tatty hose on. I wanted a polished look and ended up looking a sloppy mess with these bedraggled and obviously cheap hose. 😣😣😣 ... show more
