Waterproof, they fit amazing, The boot quality is amazing you can tell their well built. They are very comfortable I'm on my feet Between 10 and 12 hours a day and my feet don't hurt like with regular ordinary workboots, They keep your feet really warm, Well worth every penny that I spent and when these were out I will be buying more. Great fit! After adding some good insoles they're super comfortable. Look better in person than in the pictures! So far my feet haven't got wet and I've not slipped at all. Jury is still out on durability but at the price point I purchased I'm very happy!

I work outside on my farm, cutting firewood, gardening, mowing, and I abuse boots. My only two requirements are that they are waterproof (I want dry socks when I work) and Steel/Composite Toe, so I don't break a toe while chainsawing and splitting wood. I typically buy a pair of Carhartt boots or Wolverine boots, $160 or so, they last for about 18 months and then fall apart. Either the top wears out and splits or the soles disintegrate and fall apart. So this is an experiment, if I can buy a $40 pair of waterproof/composite toe boots and if they also last only 18 months, then I can do that four times for the price of name-brand boots. And if they last longer than 18 months, that is a bonus. So far, I have no issues with these boots. I have had these two weeks, they do appear to be solidly constructed, the sole tread is a very good grippy pattern, no issues slipping and sliding. They are very comfortable inside. I have gotten them wet working in rainy conditions, they do appear to be waterproof, my feet stayed dry. I will try to update this review in six months or a year and let you know how they hold up.

I've been using NORTIV products for almost a decade now and love that they remain extremely cost effective but still retain quality. I have had a number of their boots but I think these specifically are my favorite overall in terms of comfort and the lacing design. They are easy to get on and off as well and seem to provide an adequate level of waterproofing however I doubt you can submerge them past the laces and expect your feet to remain dry. All in all, excellent value and I have no problem replacing them after their unexpectedly long life
