I had some doubts about these blades 'cuz I could not find new blades with the same part numbers that were etched on the originals. Upon receipt of the new blades I compared them to the originals. I'm no mechanical engineer so take this with a grain of salt. - To me the new blades seemed to be just as heavy as the originals. - They seemed to be the same dimensions. They fit together as well as the originals did. - When I went to install them they lined up well with the old sockets and even the old bolts w/ washers fit well (of course I applied Blue Loctite to the bolts, and torqued to 38 lbs). - When I went to use them, I did not detect any new or additional vibration. I saw the new blades cut the grass as well as the original ones did (before they needed a lot of repeat sharpening). I still kept the original blades, just in case. But I've not seen a need to remove the new ones, after having mowed with them at least 3 times. My old mower is a Honda HRM215K3SDA . Original, upper mulching blade has: HONDA VE2-020 W21963. Original, lower mulching blade has: HONDA VE2-000 W22048. New blades purchased June 2024 were both in wrapping with Honda logo. One blade has numbers 72531-VE2-020 and the other has 72511-VE1-020

Good OEM blades. My old blades were 10+years old and would not hold an edge very long after sharpening. These blades had a slightly blunt edge due to the e-coating but that would have worn off the edge quickly. Runout was 1/16 of an inch or less. (within tolerance) They were very slightly off balance. (also probably within tolerance) Being a perfectionist, I took a mill file to the edge to balance the blades and remove the e-coating. It didn't take long to balance the blades perfectly (I used a vertically mounted balancer with a bearing mounted spindle) All mower blades need a little TLC but the OEM blades seem to last longer. Would buy again.

Arrive unsharpened (for obvious reasons). Once you sharpen these, they work great on our Honda mulching mower. This is our second set. The first set lasted about two years with periodic sharpening and care.

I replaced the mulching blade set on my Honda HRM215 lawn mower. The previous blade had been damaged by hitting tree roots over the years. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars on the installation is the fact that there are no directions on the orientation of the blades to ensure they are installed properly.

These are Honda blades that are an exact replacement for my original blades. They are easy to install but a torque wrench is required to properly tighten the bolts. With the new blades my mower cuts clean and easy.
