I looked on Amazon and saw a good one for far less. Did it really coast about $1000 of labor per hour to install it? I decided to try Amazon's installation service. I am happy to say that the a local plumber came out, the price was only just a tad higher than the quote I got through Amazon because a part of needed to complete the job. It's been months, the water heater works fine, the installation went smoothly, and an additional bonus is that I now know a local plumber who is fair and competent who I may use for other jobs. I installed this summer and love it. Takes a little longer to GET hot water but when it hits it never stops. I had to use heat tape on the pipes and insulate them and we are having record Lowe’s here this winter. I put a windbreak in front of the unit since it’s on the north side of the house. -7 and -26 wind chill right now. Working great ... show more

I believe it is not easy to install, I called professionals to install it. The hot water was come to really slow, but the temperature of the hot water is still acceptable; My previous tankless water heater is also of this brand, but the temperature of the hot water is much hotter than this.
