Quick and does a great job of supporting all the software I have used (From Affinity and Adobe Illustrator to basic Microsoft Office.) I wrongfully assumed the description was accurate...."This Certified Refurbished product is tested and certified to look and work like new." Nothing about this laptop looks new, 3 of the 4 corners are dented, one substantially, the screen has a flaw, like a scratch inside running just about the entire width. The unit I received looks more like it came from Goodwill, I am quite sorry I didn't buy from a retailer where I had the opportunity to see it first. Received & unpacked, it has several dings & two bends on the edges of the screen(it probably got a good drop).Not sure i am comfortable with as many dings, Size wise its a little too small. I will be crunching numbers & fear it will be a strain, will fiddle with it a couple lf days & maybe send back. Rethinking refurbished. ... show more

I wanted to try buying my first mac, and wanted to find a good one with a good deal that wasn't beat up. I bought this one a few weeks ago and it's been really good to me, and I enjoy it. The only minor flaw I somewhat dislike of it is the trackpad, although it's growing on me. The computer has pretty good storage space. I use an external HD, so I don't use up a lot of space. There's a lot of great free apps that either came with it or that you can download for it. The speed of it is really good, I think it's a lot faster than some of my old PCs.
