    • Don’t be afraid! Clean up is easy!
My family loved this Haunted Manor Bundt pan! Ever since I purchased this it’s become part of our Halloween dinner tradition just like the Jack o’lantern pizzas at our local shop! This is a very heavy Nordic ware pan. Very detailed. It’s easier to clean than I initially thought it would be. I used a dishwashing brush with soft bristles. The directions say not to soak, but I do, with hot water and dish soap, for about an hour. Any thing stuck comes right off. I towel dry it thoroughly before putting it up, Now back to the fun part! There must be a dozen recipes available for this cake, including the one printed by NordicWare. Personally I have made chocolate pound cake and a chocolate lava cake. I poured the lava (hot fudge) in the well of the manor. Decorating can be simple or complex. We normally outline the details with frosting tubes and purchased plastic spiders, bats, candy corn and candy pumpkins to enhance the details. This year I’m going back to cake decorating packages that can also be purchased on Amazon, I bake the cake, sprinkle with powdered sugar and the kids start sticking the decorations in various spots on the cake! I still use some candy enhancers. I’m not a professional baker, just some kids grandma who they love to bake for them. Halloween is a special holiday for all. Anything that is easy peasy is in my wheelhouse! This haunted house is adorable and it actually looks haunted! I’m glad we now have another traditional centerpiece to decorate our Halloween table. This is a great purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to bake! ... show more

Go ahead and order this fabulously fun Bundt pan! You know you desperately want to or else you wouldn’t be scrolling through these silly reviews, mine included. I assure you: It’s every bit as amazing as you hope it will be and your Halloween guests will be deeply impressed. Pro tip: if you’re contemplating buying this pan to bake Halloween cakes to share, do yourself a favor and buy some extra tall cake boxes featuring a clear pane on top. I love this Bundt pan! It's as described and works fantastic! I didnt have any issues using it. It's did come w/1 scratch BUT sometimes pans have even more issues in store so just a common occurrence and not something that has affected its quality.

Love this pan!! Very heavy duty material, not cheap like the other brands. Great detail in the design. So far I have created one cake with it. Used a shortening with flour prep to keep cake from sticking, cake came out perfectly. I recommend a short, warm to hot water soak- then wash with a little brush. Using the spray function on the faucet helps remove any food particles in the nooks and crannies. Cannot wait for another reason to bake more cakes! ... show more

I have many Nordic Bundt pans and believe they are the best. I have not yet used this pan because I just now finished removing the plastic glue-like substance used to attach the packaging. It is nearly impossible to remove. Hot water does not work and a sharp knife would harm the pan, meaning you are left spending hours picking at the crevices with your fingers. I will update this review after I bake with it, but right now I am exhausted from picking at the plastic. Update - So I just baked an Autumn Spice Cake with Caramel Glaze. The pan was definitely worth using after removing all the packaging. Hints: Use a baking spray. You will never be able to grease all the nooks and crannies in this intricate pan, and I don't trust non-stick coating. Fill the pan more full than you normally would. 2/3 full for a regular Bundt pan is my rule, but that was not enough to allow the cake to fill all the pan when baked. Fill it nearly full, then pan to use a knife to level it by removing the dome while allowing the cake to cool before turning it out on a rack to completely cool. I baked my cake for 40 minutes at 350°; at 30 minutes the top was browned but a knife did not come out clean, so I covered it very lightly with foil for the last ten minutes. I placed the Bundt pan on a sheet pan to avoid spillage and possibly burning the intricate parts of the design. It's a lot of work to unpack, but it's a fun design for a Halloween cake - perfect with a spice cake and glaze. Enjoy! ... show more

    • Worth the effort
Takes a little bit of time to brush butter into all the nooks and crannies, but it was definitely worth it. The spiced rum cake recipe that came with the pan was delicious, and our cake came out of the pan way easier than I thought it would. My kids loved it!

So happy to add this to my Nordic Ware collection. Sturdy, great quality typical of Nordic Ware. If you know what you’re doing you’ll have no issues with cake releasing from this pan. If you’re a novice there are plenty of tips on-line. If you want to impress folks come October, this is the pan for you! ... show more
