Baked several different cakes and breads in them at temperatures as high as 425 degrees F. No problems were encountered. There was no odor of any kind from the pans when first removed from the shipping carton, nor was there any odd odors after their use. Coating seems hard and stable thus far. These cake pans were beautiful, super deep and perfect for what I needed them for. They are not too heavy, and nonstick, which makes them very easy to use. It’s nice having a set of three because I could make all the layers on my three layer cake at once.
