The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical of the reviews but I have to say this ice auger works very well with a cordless drill. After seeing and using gas powered augers, which cause frustration, over the years I was interested in buying a electric auger. I would have dished out the $500-700 for a nice electric auger but thankfully met a guy using a similar drill powered auger similar to this one. Folks this is the only way to go! My drill, a Rockell 20v brushless drill, shows a thrust of 531 in-lbs. This auger recommends a minimum of 725 in-lbs peak torque so I was a bit worried I didn’t have enough power to cut through the ice. As you can see in the video the Rockwell has plenty of power. Using a standard Li-ion battery I could cut through 9” of ice very quickly. I cut several holes and there was still plenty of juice left in the battery. You need a drill with a 1/2 in chuck but could probably get a adapter if you only have a 3/8 in chuck.

Bought the auger back in 2021, have used it every year since. Has held up great. Haven’t had to change the blades yet but I think I’ll do it this year. Easy to use and works very well. When I first got it and up until last year, it punches hole in the ice very fast. Good auger for the price.

I was really excited to use this unit on my Dewalt cement mixing drill but the flighting wouldn’t fit in my Kolpin mounts on my atv. I didn’t get to use it but I could tell the quality was there.

This auger is great. This is the first auger that I've had that wasn't the old hard crank. I use it in a ryobi 18v hammer drill. It fits in the chuck easily, its very light and it honestly cuts through ice like a hot knife through butter. It effortlessly drilled through 9-12 inches of ice this season in a matter of seconds. I've been so pleased with it that I've been looking into more of their gear. And prior to my purchase I was a little hesitant because I hadn't heard of the brand before, but it is an excellent piece of equipment.

Just got my 8 inch out for the first time. Everything is as advertised. It’s very sharp and seems pretty durable so far. I’ve always used a hand auger so this was a huge upgrade. I drilled at least 20 holes without breaking a sweat. It also didn’t come out of my drill once I made sure it was tight. The drill I have also has a handle that can be screwed on which was a good bonus.
