Seem to work okay for the countersink, but the included bits seem to have a weak spot where the bit is pinned to the hex shaft. The first one I used lasted about 30 holes in softwood and didn’t even make it through one project. I didn’t take a photo, but the snap looked identical to photos in other reviews here where it snapped at the pin. I bought it for the countersink and you can replace the bits so it’s not a complete waste. Minor, but it also would have been nice to include even a cheap reusable case rather than just have something else to rattle around in a drawer or empty screw box.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These were perfect for what I needed. I had to counter sink a few screws on a door installation these worked great. For the price of one of two counter sink bits at the local big box store, I was able to get the whole set. Not sure how long they will last, but they worked for my needs.

Three of four boys were straight. The one I needed most was a bit off center and wobbles even when installed in a drill press to check how straight it was. The ones that were straight worked well and were easy enough to use. Just watch out for quality control.

Purchased to clean out existing holes on a deck i was repairing. A few screws were proud when I disassembled. Purchased these to clean out countersink holes and to make a bit deeper where needed. First bit made it 7 holes then broke. Mind you, these are existing holes, was only chasing them out. Second bit broke halfway thru making a new hole. Decided to use this broken bit to clean out holes since I didn't need to drill into joists. Countersink bit was dull after 20 holes. Luckily client had a set of similar bits from a different manufacturer. His bit did its job for the rest of deck, approximately 200 holes. Was as sharp at the end as it was at beginning. This was a Brazilian hardwood deck. These bits feel cheap to the touch and unrefined. Unable to drill a single new hole. Clients set felt better and performed accordingly.
