Well I’ve had this auger now for about four months, have used it on about 30 holes myself to plant a privacy hedge of arborvitae, green giants. Might neighbor also used it for about 50 holes and it performed great! The main difference between say this auger and some of the other offerings that are $50-$75 cheaper is the construction. If you look at some of the cheaper ones, the black metal auger bits they come with have significantly thinner metal than the orange or red ones you see listed on Amazon and eBay. This auger is not only powerful, but easy to start, and also has the higher quality bit that came with it. Lastly, it has a “kickback spring” to protect your wrists God forbid this thing hits a big rock or root. All in all, very pleased with the purchase and can say fairly confidently now that the Gardentraxx name is synonymous with quality. A+++++
